a wagon wheel of a different color
Craven replied to karinvail's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
That's what I was talking about (stainless steel). But for something a little different, the center caps from a Mazda pickup truck, spoke style steel wheel will fit. If you want to see one, I'll shoot a pic. tomarrow. Craven -
Experiences painting Subarus with exotic paints?
Craven replied to Bratenstein's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Doing a flip flop paint job. First you do your basic prep. work, primer, sealer. Then you spray 3 coats of Black. Over the black you spray the flip flop It would take less than a qt. for a brat. Then 3 coats of clear over that. Check this place out. They have flip flop powder that you add to clear or a candy color to get that effect $26.00. http://www.thetuulshed.com/ -
You must also disconnect and plug the vacuum line going to the Dis.

After more research it depends on what Dis. you are running. If the ignition module is inside the Dis. it appears you don't need the extra resisitor. If your running points or some of the early electronic ignitions with the module mouted by the coil, you need it.
