was putting in a different stereo in the forester oem , had key on for awhile , after install battery dead, jumped battery everything good, wondering if battery is going bad, it looks older , yes leaving the key on will kill battery but after awhile not 5 min

i have used a floor jack on the rear diff

after sitting aleast 10 min or longer , pulling out of driveway onto road, seems like right rear noise , but not sure , and road noise ,

noise only happens when you first start the car and move it going straight, , stop, engine still running go foward no noise, if it was a wheel bearing noise would be there all the time ???? a/t

wife picked up car, throttle body and injectors, i had put sea foam into tank and alittle into throttle body , and losen up all the crap , replaced maf , it runs real quite now , mpg should inprove now

well got it back 150 bucks, it was all plugged up with carbin , runs great now, so yes i caused it , and 300 bucks later,

yes i checked everything , it got towed to local shop , will find out tomorrow, no tools here to check fuel regulator , if over 200 bucks going to have it bought back home , either junk it or strip it , thing is i just bought it , off ebay ,seller did alot of work to it , so maybe bought some one elses problems ,thanks

cars starts ,if i hold down the gas pedal it will run , as soon as i let up it goes back down and stalls ,

ok, i agree on fuel pump , but switch , it starts fine first turn , idles for 3-4 seconds and stalls out , what would be the best way to check fuel pump, before i trailor it to shop , i have a spare fuel pump from a 95 lsi sedan , not sure if it will fit

about 2 hours north west of you ,

installed new maf sensor still same problem , starts and stalls , rechecked and rechecked everything , , towing it to shop , then junkyard,

bought tools, still not problem , towing it to shop as we speak , [ junk]

what tool is required to remove 2 screws holding maf , seems like torx ,but center tab ??

checked yesterday ,but will check again after new maf arrives,

unplugged maf ,start it but stalls out, , so if new maf does not work will trailer it to shop for repair

no foresters at local junkyards , closes one 60 miles away, subaru's are not real common around here,

got after market , will not bolt up ,wife pick it up today, either drill it out or take it back , it plugs in fine and is the right one,

can i use after market,

yes, no junk yards around here with my maf sensor, hardly any subaru;s

already unpluged the maf sensor and - side of battey no difference , starts but stalls , no cell , send pm with price and pay-pal again

sorry camera is broken, i never removered the maf sensor i sprayed into it , i could see where to spray , changed dirty air filter, also checked other air filter, and changed it, could i have caused damage to the maf sensor?which now needs replacing
