  1. well not real easy to come by around here, how hard to real build ? step by step , most auto stores around here may not have a subaru front caliper, closes dealer 1 hour away, subaru are not real common around here, thanks gary
  2. was redoinging my front disc brakes , because sounded like something rubbing , took it all apart , new clips good pads , but the caliper seems like it is sticking ? ,it is a dual cylinder type , the outside one pops out and in easy , but the inner one will not pop back out, time for a new front caliper ???? thanks

  5. it/s been over 2 years since new antifreeze was changed in my 2000 legacy, i was told by 2 different places ,that antifreeze should be changed every 2 years, [ subaru plant , radiator shop/ , what would be the best cheapest way ? , drain fill, or flush with kit and hook up garden hose , which there is no hook up for hose at heater hose, thanks,it tests good at -30 below , all green, but it has been aleast 25,000mi since changed, car has 125,000mi 2.5 a/t , legacy L wagon
  6. on my 99 forester i drained tranny 3 times, and filter change , i drained out about 4 qt each time, but first time i poured the drained out fluid into a gal jug just to see how much i drained out , auto zone sells the tranny filter ,
  7. buy from radiator barn, quick shipping, right fit, 2 day delivery
  8. sound about right, drain fill tranny twice , drain into gal jug then you know how much you got out each time, 1/2 in rachet fits rear diff, bottom drains it top plug fills it ,

  10. i have a 2000 legacy wagon, part of the plactic tube coming from the grill is missing , can i use a cone filter coming from the intake and remove the hole air box, good or bad , comments
  11. ok, been workin on it for 2 hrs no luck, just crank crank, so may call junk yard tomorrow, + other wagon sitting there with bent control arm, no help with replacing it , steel is up , thanks for all help,

  14. yes it ran on new timing belt, aleast 6,000 mi , everything ran great , no start, replaced crank sensor, plugs, wires, maf ,
  15. been sitting 1.5 yrs , no start, timing belt good [ new] battery new, alt, all it does is crank , going to try again and get it running , just one day would not start
  16. are all fuel necks the same size, outback, foresters, sedans, i have a good fuel neck from a 97 outback wagon , will it fit + work in a 99 forester, thanks
