  1. The dates are kinda messed up on that website... Unless a gen2 somehow went back in time to the 70's.
  2. The nicest FWD ea81 eva. That looks pretty cool. The red and tan plaid interior out of '82 GLs make me drool. I have a set of '82 GL Brat seats in need of resto, one ripped up and the other one stained. Planning on putting them in my Brat.
  3. Gonna add my subscription here, lots of good info. Nice clean build and a beast Subie.
  4. I'm sure you already know the history, but thats because they kept the Brat and Hatchback EA81s around until '87 for the Brat and '89 for the Hatch. The Wagons, Sedans, and Coupes halted at '85 for the new EA82 versions. Its a shame they didn't make EA82 Hatches and Brats... they would be interesting.
  5. Did not even notice that.
  6. It has the RX interior. All you're missing is the checkered door cards: Somebody replaced your front bumper and side marker for a post '85/'86 GL. What does the headliner look like? Never seen one in a RX.
  7. Turns out it was something really simple. We ran a ground from the battery to the alternator, and it would start every time. However the wire eventually burned up. So we instead ran a ground from the existing connection of the battery to frame ground; to the transmission. Working good. This is preventing the drain on the battery that was happening.

Are you the owner of these awesome subarus? Nice build.
  10. Mother of God. Lol the answer finally arrives. Bookmarked. I like the style of that green wheel in the pic. I would get that in 4x140 with 6" width and 14" or 15" diameter.
  11. Its a 1973 Subaru Leone Sportabout. Don't know anything about the car, I only saw the poster on Ebay. It must have been a dealer special or possibly a limited edition where ever the "Leone" series were at. (Japan, Australia, etc.)
  12. Maybe a safety of some kind? I'm not really sure how these drag strip auto trannies work, never had the opportunity to use one. But this drag-ready camaro has the same looking lever on the side: (scroll down to interior pic) http://www.motorator.com/blog/gm/chevrolet-2012-copo-camaro Actually just about all the drag-autos I see have this lever...
  13. Heres a Brat in Africa that has been turned into a trophy truck.
  14. Facebook is also an option. If you have your pictures in an album on facebook all you have to do is right click "download" under the options tab, (facebook has changed its album layout around a bit) and select "copy shortcut" from the pop-up-right-click-box. Then you come here and when posting click on the little icon above that looks like a sun setting over mountains (this lets you embed pictures). Erase the "http..." thats in the box already and paste in the picture url that you copied. Then you erase the ?dl=1 from the end of the url and press "ok". Bam pictures hosted from Facebook.
  15. That was a nice read, and now its got a more powerful heart and meaner look.
