I have a 89 gl wagon,ej 22 swap, starts fine runs great for about 5 minites, then runs like crap, pops backfire, and shakes. I am at a loss what to do. thanks if you can help.

got the check eng, lite working, it is givinga throtal pos sens code,3 long 1 short flash, so I checked it acording to the book I have and it all checked out fine, but I tsill get the code and it still runs like grap. eany ideas.

I have ben driving this car for one week it was running real good,coming home one day it started it stumble, mis,act like it was running out of gas, running on 3 cylinders,when it is cold it runs fine, ofter a cuple minets it starts all ofer agine, eany thauts I am at a loss, it is a ej swap could it be not getting enuf fuel preshure?

finely went and got plates for this car and now I plan on driving it, I hope there are no big ishues winter will be hear soon and I plan on the car being my winter ride.

how mutch for the lift

started a rear tube bumper this weekend, I will get pitchures up wen I get a little more tacked together.

I was wondering what you all do with it on a lifted rig , I have a 88 gl I just put 2" blocks under the cross member and all that other stuff. do you take the sway bar out. I could make it work if it is better to keep it.

I wont to put one in my off road car, maby sell the other. the singal port has the egr thing dont think I will keep it.

I picked up 2 ej22 to day one is a singal port and one is dule port, witch is ,would be bitter or witch do you all prefur.

I dont know for shure but I do know to guys can lift a compleat moter in to the back of a truck,

take lots of pitchures.

dont give up on this I know it can be done.trial and eror,(r&d) keep at it you will get it right.

ther will be more but it will happen slowly.

when you put a 2.2 ej in to a ea body what have you done to the oil pan?

to day I drilled the hubs for 6 lug,I found some nissan 14" rims,

that looks like a good car,it most likley has 14" rims by some 27 850 14 put a strut lift on it and have fun.

I built some 2" spacers and put them on the top of the struts,looks perty good but now I have bigger tires I am going to nake a bigger lift, I have some 2x3x1/4 wall tube that I will be putting on to rase it up more, hope it is enuf.I will try to take pitchures.

to day i scored got some 27x850x14 6ply wild cats,now i need to get them mounted and get the lift made.

I have not posted hear in a long time, been working on a 88 wagon. but this weekend we went it saltlake to see family we took the 98 forester,it now has imprest me once agine,it is 450 miles round trip 31 miles to the gallon on the freeway,on the way home hit the worst snow I seen in a long time,but this allweal drife is awson in 8 inches of snow, just have to say I love this car.

I really like this and would like to see it in action.
