My new brat project!
Im keeping it for parts for my gl10 sedan. since i can never find a sedan. It has 18X,XXX MILES ON IT! theres actually quite a bit of rust around windshield, and the underside of the frame is pretty bad, seat tops are ripped but besides that its pretty good, engine is leaking antifreeze into the heads or something (thats why it needs a rebuild) This is something i have NEVER seen... its a riser for the 3rd break light

My new brat project!
I picked this up today with a hi,low 1.8 carbed (needed rebuild) using this just to get the brat up and running and then when i have more money I'm swapping in a ej22.

My new brat project!
So I've decided to not go for a lifted brat... costs to much money for my crazy ideas! still doing ej22 (looking at a couple this weekend) but its going to be lowered and a 85 d/r, with probably 5 lug swap, still with quite a bit of custom fab work... can't wait to get her home... once the snow melts...

Ej22 N/a to ej22T, OR supercharged?!?!
shortysayhi replied to shortysayhi's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXSo what I've found is they don't produce that much hp difference, so just keeping a ej22 and not turbo-ing, but putting a cold air would be ALMOST as powerful as a ej22t

Ej22 N/a to ej22T, OR supercharged?!?!
So I've tried to find some stuff on this but I've been contemplating the idea (if possible) of making a ej22 into a ej22 Turbo. Would it be possible, if so what upgrades would be needed?

My new brat project!
I might take you up on that, How much are you asking for it? So I'm picking up (hopefully) a 1988 Toyota rear axle with 4.10 gears, then just have to go get everything for a EJ swap!! Deffinetly wish the snow would melt!

My new brat project!
I am a part time student. And fixed my car all I can. So gotta get a new project that will take a long time. And like 50$. But didn't drag it since there's still massive amounts of snow at my house (3 feet on the sides of my driveway). I'd say the worst part was the top of the roof and front fender

My '83 GL: The Ski Wagon
Yeah bumps are rough with air shocks. The main thing you want to check is how well the strut part of the scocks (that are with in the air bags are good) if not then using the air strut system could really damage the car. My AIR bag part of the system is flawless but the struts inside are all shot. So have to replace. I got one and actually cut the old one appart to see if there was any way possible to just replace the strut and there isn't. Unfortunately. so after spending 400 on A air strut. Gotta get 3 more and I actually have the control box to test each individual shock and push button system (4x4 switch and dash etc) but it only works for like 2 models.
