Projector lenses into GL/Loyale buckets
My cars in the shop so will get pics as soon as possible, i found this pic its a little different than how mine are set up, but the metal housing (subaru) would sit between #35 and 41, Mine has 2 rubber washers (pretty thick) and #35 is one, and on the other side between the housing and #41 would have the other rubber washer thing. then theres a nut #42 and the rest of the stuff needed to hold the bulb.

Corrosion on battery cable- how to clean or just replace?
shortysayhi replied to ttt's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXTake it fully apart and steel wool to clean it? Also make sure the contacts that wrap around the batter terminals are super clean. even tho my advice is simple it might work?

Projector lenses into GL/Loyale buckets
When i did my conversion, they gave me (3) rubber washer things and a plate with a nut on it (per projector). i took off the part that locks the old bulb in the bucket, Obviously it will differ from kit to kit. will get pics of mine, if you guys want to see.

Roll call!
Well here goes! First i have my '86 gl-10 turbo. It has around 120k on it now, and the air suspension system just started crapping out, but I am buying new air struts if i ever want to go back. I have done the Projector conversion, push button 4 wheel, made my own skid plate tinted tail lights, custom tint, full custom 2.5" exhaust, Rockford fosgate dual 12's and total of 8 speakers inside, Also got a second trunk with a sti wing, But she's got some rust that will be fixed this summer. Second is my 78 brat, that I'm building slowly 3rd is a 86 gl sedan carb'd, sedan, with d/r 4th is my parts wagon with the D/r thats probably going into the brat

My new brat project!
Yeah, in my parts wagon I have a full trans with matching rear diff. So all id need is the adapter plate. I mean I want to have more of a full time all wheel drive instead of the fw/4wheel. (I'll just deal if I have too..). I do want to keep it pretty simple, but get the best option with cost.

My new brat project!
Okay I don't plan on doing burn outs but maybe a little show boating but with the 6 speed would I have to relocate the starter? (my main concern). Or maybe a wrx trans? This project might get pushed out and put on hold (money related) But what would be the ideal set up? And most logical one?

My new brat project!
OK, so i need some advice... i am struggling with the idea of using my extra 86 gl D/R trans... with a ej22t. I know the stuff i would need, but i am not sure if its a smart idea, like if theres way to much power and it would tear it apart, or if its possible to use a STI trans (6 speed), if i would need to do some modifications to get it to work? or if i just used a 5 speed manual trans outta a legacy etc... Please i need some adviceeee!
