My new brat project!
So i need a LEFT REAR taillight, I'm starting to put some stuff together again, but since my seats are so tore up, I'm weighing the options of getting them re-upholstered, vs something like this http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/ATG0/FML100/N0600.oap?******=Search_seats_N0600_1305548_3815&keyword=seats&pt=N0600&ppt=C0379

Another collectable Justy (don't laugh) is on the road
Yeah! My dad scored a justy with 13's. I was at my tire store and they said there are like only 9 more 12 inch tires that they can get a hold of

Brat Windshield Visor??
Something like this would look better, but you would have to do a lot of trim work, then bondo etc. but sounds like it would be a cool idea! make this come to life!

Look what I just brought home, for FREE !
Early ea82 had the door mirrors vs the later window mounted ones. The problem is they are hard to come by. I've seen 2 other cars (one was a '84 gl-10 turbo sedan)

well, i ordered the power steering fluid "liquid gold", got new belt, and ordered the brush re build kit... well at subaru even the worker didn't know what exactly it was, just had to deal with the parts that break.

Yeah, some of the plastic only says that levers for the gas tank, but its both! and also in the trunk the lock mechanism theres a little lever (hard to see) but if you move it, it makes it to where you can only open the trunk by key vs key and the lever.

pull the lever UP on the floor next to the drivers seat (same lever for the gas tank )

Brat seats
Pretty sure in colorado the law is if your truck cab is full you can legally have people ride in the back w/o seatbelts.

brought it in for an alignment but since my power steering rack isn't in good shape (rocks in the boot etc) it won't hold alignment so i had to get another and the shop found one! I think go subaru has the kit to fix the brushes, guess ill have to order that once i get back from cali. Also it takes "special" power steering fluid? what kind?

Those would be sweet to get! I kinda want to get those fog light covers, but its more stuff that i don't NEED... but want! Found out that i can get a NEW power steering pump/ reservoir for a whopping $800... and used are 300-400.

You always could have raised the xt4, but i have never seen those markers your talking about... I hate to say it, but the owners before i got the car deffinetly abbused it. Well last night while going to king soopers, my drivers side auto seat belt thing broke, the cable came out of the track, and I'm pretty sure the motor got fried, because i fixed the area where the cable pops out of the track, and now the motor doesn't extend/ retract... so i got it in the lowest possible place and just have to un-hook and re hook all the time. I like it too, just it needs a fresh paint job! because i washed her today, and found this... guess it was there when i bought it... This was today. My xt6 needs to be lower tho

Thanks! I drove it for the first time over 15 mph. Just got to bump up the idle. And work on the suspension. But new OEM parts are better then used or re modified.

It was a total rip off! But it had to be done... It was 168... Ish. Go Subaru has coupons like 15% off which helped! I kinda wish it was a 2 piece thing where the bushing was separate, would be a lot cheaper. But oh well.

Well that was the problem, so i picked up the New diff hanger/bushing. the car drives AMAZING!! just have to fix the power steering.

1986 GL Sedan - NED
Yes Jackmans dont have issues. It's the "Subaru" version which are the more curved ones that have some problems on ea82's
-
'88 XT6 - Shortysayhi
Yes, i had to re fill my transmission (it leaked all out the first time) so i thought id just put a new seal in. And I pushed up on the rear diff and I assumed that, that's where the noise is coming from.
-
'88 XT6 - Shortysayhi
Well this is the rear diff mount... ordered a new one! Also put a new one of these in... (forgot what it was called)

1986 GL Sedan - NED
Curved ones were older (and made by Subaru). I have the same set of flat spoke jack mans and they work great. The problem is the older ones wont clear the calipers so they bind and won't work (on my gl10). Just my .02
