  1. Now back from Israel heres the update... on the 15th i lost my clutch pedal while driving... it went straight to the floor. so now I'm looking around for a full clutch kit, ordered a new oem clutch cable. would anyone recommend staying away or getting a exedy oem clutch kit #15009?
  2. Denver doesnt participate in NASIOC pretty much at all anymore, I went up in a cruise with some AWDpirates one day, from 6&colfax to Idaho springs, to mount Evans and through evergreen! And my subi kept up (86 gl10 Turbo). ShawnW, clarksons (up in conifer) are good shops, the parts department at GOsubaru WEST can find a lot of hard to find brand new parts for ea82's
  3. Hey sorry about not calling you on the intercooler been super busy. I'll call you when I'm back from Isreal.
  4. Well heres an update!! - New rear swaybar bushings! - new oil pressure sending unit (OEM can get part # for subaru) - New alternator - New belts - New glovebox lock from subaru (can get part #) - And some tint on the front window Running like a champ!!! Gotta get emissions after i come back from isreal!!:headband: And i ran into another XT6 Owner up where i live!! he's got a red one!!:headbang:
  5. This doesn't help with your current situation per say, but a Allen wrench works as a axle stub remover. And they are super strong. (it's what I use)
  6. That was one of my ideas, but I think. That since there are so many dents and holes, that I'm going to weld a piece on TOP and then bondo around it. So it's flat and all. I don't mind dents on the inside since it will be covered up by the carpet stuff

    Where'd you get those?!?
  8. I love how it sounds! Heres some pics of the hid projectors HIGH Beams Low beams
  9. Oh it's goonna last trust me but yes I will drive it till it can't anymore, and then fix it some more! I was thinking easiest thing is just weld a sheet on the exterior after cleaning up the rust and covering it with rust protectant. It would be simple and would work.
  10. Some more work today
  11. Im not that willing to take a risk! ha So my idea was maybe sandwiching the OLD roof skin with 2 new sheets of steel. Or a sheet on top or under, and use bondo
  12. Okay.... HOW WOULD YOU FIX THIS ROOF????
  13. Will the wagon tail light, (left side) work on a gen1 brat? And do you have window crank handles?
  14. Mine in progress http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/...d.php?t=130777
  15. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=130777 My brat!
  16. i don't think its WAY different, should be exactly the same harness, but the whole light switch part would be different.
  17. that would have been the better thing for me to do, but this passenger side rockers and underside of the outside frame rails are russssstttttteeedddd out! in the second picture that whole panel that I'm welding was rusted out and someone did a crappy job bondo-ing it b4.
  18. Some of today's progress.
  19. Well the seats are Almost the same!!! its 21 vs 20 inch wide, 36.5 vs 34 inch tall, 21 vs 20 inch deep. i still have to double check my measurements for the mounting but they should work, and are WAY comfy! They are also HALf the price to get the originals re- upholstered. I think i paid $30 for all 3 of my lights including the trim pieces around the lights! so 80 is wayyyy to much for me.
  20. Found this while digging through my photos, its when my air struts started braking.
  21. I have gotten my last 2 oil changes thinking they were using 10w30, and this past month i started to smoke and burn oil, today i found out subaru uses 5w30 where its recommended that you use 10w30, got it swapped out and haven't seen white smoke at all!!
  22. power steering brushes are getting replaced, steering rack is brand new, just gotta order a dash mat, to cover up the broken dash trim Also i Need a Lower fog light (right side)
