  1. stop blaming the ecu find the real problem ecus causeing problems 3 out of 1200 cars very very rare i bet it has engine problem or exhuast problem is the egr opening try the ecu but not very optamistic
  2. I had to feed the propane into the turbo like a old turbo buick used a 425 mixer into a ej2.5 had to run draw thru
  3. could it just control the stock trans tcu ?
  4. put a rag into the crown and pinon teeth thru the oil drain hole to jam it up use a strong 1/2 gun i have a snapon one that is very snapy thiss helps a few wacks with a meatal drift on sides of nut may help relase it
  5. rosette weld ? defanatly needs a hoter weld my welder is a wimp sending them off to welding shop with preheating abillitys and high amp welder. A'm very glad we tried them before race at least we found out before the old ones still work fine and since matt straitened up the rear end the axles should hold up better. I also dialed back the waste gate was at 20 psi droped it to 10 psi to try and keep engine togther then can slowly increase the boost as needed
  6. Or mabee engine has low vacume and it just thinks the map is bad it can only blame what it thinks is wrong
  7. I found was two types of codes one for senser falure and one for wire contanuity faliure is important to know witch is going on probly a wire harness problem never asume that a code for a part means the part is a problem .

  10. I whould be interested and have test pilot cars being able to addjust timing or add extra sensers howbout being able to control a 4eat with the same ecu as engine ? thiss is a wall for me. Also boost control extra feul control and nos control rev limiters and over preshure limiters ect
  11. change the front car wire harness takes about 4 hrs if you have the doner car the imputs to ecu for trans are many and dosent like to not see its auto why not just put your auto back in ? the 2.2 would work fine behind it
  12. think it comes off as you lift the housing up may need some heat or a drift with brass punch while holdig housing up
  13. cant get the nut off or the gear off ? may have to be pressed do you have the case halfs apartt ?
  14. Well axles were duds broke my welds on first try next is some heat treatment and a lot biger and hotter welder. A freind sugested to us that a mig weld is hard and brittle and a arc weld is more flexabble and stronger the axle shaft material is a hard meatal to weld to so we will shrink fitt it togther and try welding it agian
  15. And confirm marks are painted on the belt in right spot they dont always get it right
  16. did a outback lift into a 93 impreza 4dr looked good and fit 15 think we put 225 75 15s on it
  17. Try a new ig realy and a different crank senser also check main engine harness conector is pluged in all the way and tight

So when i get a ?abble diss I plug in anuther one right next to it with key on and manualy spin the diss and see if it fires the injectors or makes spark making sure cap and wires are on it thiss will tell me if diss is working. have seen many bad diss on ea82 engines drove me nuts back in the day also check were the coil bolts down is the ground for coil transistor i add a extra ground wire from - post to coil bracket. also the ea82 cars had a bad habbit of pulling on the brown realy wire harness under dash and just slightly puling conector off one side make shure is pluged in all the way and turns on with key thiss caused 4 no starts in one year and loyales get towed in for this often

  20. all awd subarus get 35 front 32 rear at my shop is standard procedure unless have special tires or race tires ect I do know that there is every kind of tire the there are michelins they stand apart and in there own catagory by far the toughest tires out there
  21. They check your car every year crazy glad i live here no emition testing of any kind. I whould start by making shure no exhaust leaks of any kind reset ecu and drive it see what codes come back. Have been having lots of bad 02 s latly also check flow of egr if equiped
  22. different pistons cams plane block /heads not alot can do with it
