  1. hey eggroller, nice to see you made it here. saw thoose pics of your soob on vortex:drunk:
  2. phew:rolleyes: i was having withdrawls..kinda of funny how most of us flocked over to nasioc. that thread went to crap really fast.sorry:lol:
  3. here's a pic I took showing the difference in struts, as thats what lowers the car as for the rear you can fit 2.5 ID springs in the rear, which many companys (afco, eibach, etc) make in a varity of lengths and lb. ratings. im currently going to be using some eibach springs that are about 2" shorter and about 20lb or so stiffer than stock rears. its for the coupe so im gonna use adjustable wagon shocks as they're higher damping than non-rx coupe shocks
  4. well just putting 2wd springs on your struts isnt really going to lower the front, its just gonna make you have gushy soft springs in front.
  5. if you are goign to take the front down you're going to want to use 2wd xt front struts.. preferably with stiffer springs (RX, or 2wd xt6 if you can find them) for the rear you will need a set of rear swing arms with the sway bar mounts. xt6 awd sway bars are the largest..
  6. ok here's the deal... i need, (and haven't been able to find) a specific egr hard line. one form the bottom of the head to the egr valve from a turbo spider manifold.. so would anyone have a part # for the pipe w/fittings? i need to see if i can even get it from the dealer? -Brad
  7. yeah i have a gen1 impreza single pillar pod..fits great
  8. thanks man..wait till you see it and my wagon in a few months
  9. kibs45, it looks like this..right? its the ea82 "gl/loyale" body style . you mostly see wagons and 4drs
  10. difference between teh 87 turbo coupe and RX coupe.. RX gets the full body gorund efffects, paint matched (turbo coupe just got front dam & wing), paint matched mirrors, and the special high damping suspension with stiffer front springs
  11. just so you know, thoose cheapy HID kits are all garbage (and yes even if they use philips ballasts) ..teh only correct way to use an hid setup is for it to be inside something that is designed for that type of bulb ie; it needs to be in a HIDprojector . ....composite headlamps and thoose clear h4 converison lamps do not have the "reflection design" to properly project the hid pattern.. example http://hidtech.com/view/1064770217 this info comes from first hand experiance of "learning from mistakes" due to setting up a true hid system in a honda (no it was not mine) however, since the h4 conversion lamps are crystal clear, you can do a retro fit into them. hope that helps
  12. well considering the ea82t doesn't have an intercooler, it would definitly be a worthwile mod..plus the wrx IC seems to fit quite nice in an ea82. <--has a wrx ic in his wagon
  13. get both cars. if that GL is a 5spd, swap trannys & diffs to the turbo loyale + spare parts on hadn!.Im sure theres maybe a few other littel interior things to trade over as the loyale is somewhat stripped down form teh Gl;s
  14. Get the RX! im sure when later on it will be easier to find an xt6 (if you want one) then another 3dr rx
  15. cool. i too just picked up a 3.9vlsd last week..but its gona sit for awhile before it goes in teh wagon
  16. well with my never ending digi problems i had to take a pic with my camera phone
  17. there is a hardline that is right under the t-stat housing. it curves around toward teh turbo then there is a short peice of rubber line between that and the turbo hard line
  18. NIce!!! do you have a better shot of the front? what are the lights/grill from? that loks sick
  19. tomorrow i can take some pics for you has i have my upper manifold removed on t3h wagon..
