  1. I just had this long pictured post going. I just don't know what this is. I know these igniter Fuel and Main relays coolant , knock, etc, and the intake air thingie.. then Alternator, and intake harness plugs Thos ebig white wires come out off of that last pic... cheers
  2. If you look in the preza lift thread , I posted a link to my how to for templates, and blocks. cheers
  3. 91 LEgo... I only ASSUMED I needed the fender well thingy Because of the huge white wires I need for the Alternator. So I'll just fuse that , and the main power wire. I need to identify the fuel relay and main relay. The grounds are more of a security thing with me, and water.LOL And as far as the inline fuses, and relays.COOL. There is not much info around for running stand alone info out there it seems. It may be right in front of my face but I don't see it! cheers
  4. ALRIGHT! So, with the help of Eulogious , I went through a wiring harness I had laying around. It is already trimmed down. It appears that with the addition of some grounds, and an in fender relay/fuse box that I can run it. I am gonna work on that this week. I have to pick up a fuse box and some switches..... cheers
  5. NIce job! I would definitely build my own A-arms. Keep up the good work. And don't forget what the Toyota world has to offer with stock replacements via King Shocks. cheers
  6. It can be if utilized properly. LIKe in conjunction with an LSD. Or welded. Or spooled. Very common practice in the Subaru drift world.
  7. It came with a 1.8 litre engine. I was being fun nay!

All it comes down to is you stretching your fab skills to the limit. I have seen plenty of people take a Toyota and bootyfab the spoob out of it. Its all about growing. People are used to seeing professional fabbed bullshit all over. They hardly ever see all the process that it took to get spoob right the first time. You'll learn from the mistakes you make here and will change them later. I can't wait to see it run. cheers
  9. I would EA81 that!! lol and, of course, it is from the 80's.....
  10. yeah, This is never coming to fruition... lol

You know me. I gotta pick on it. And I had many a beers before I wrote that cheers
  12. Delta cams work if you use them in the right recipe. Period. My , non tuned, poorly running frankenmotor of an engine is down right quick. Keep it simple stupid.
  13. I don't just need an ECM.I need the whole shebang, I have some lines in the water. its all good

your fawking up a bit just a bit, but not in the "let's do something awesome" side of things.. in other words, the flat 90 degree weld of frame to channel iron , is going to promote cracking in the thinner frame metal. Just make sure any flat frame welds are staggered, and you gusset spoob. Looks awesome! cheers I can't stress enough to not weld straight up and down on frame pieces. make an arrow --> out of the overlaying piece.
  15. What He ^ said. OR There is NO DEFINITIVE answer to your question without seeing your car. Pictures help ALOT!!!! Every situation is different, no matter what all of us say. There is some weird little quirk that defies the world of reason and quantifies insanity ! How shall we overcome this damned obsession to lift and modify? Just do it. You see that spot it is hitting. HIT IT WITH A BIG FAWKING HAMMER!!!!! Don't be afraid, it's ok. It will only hurt her a bit. You are now able to go on and just bash her, because she is not perfect anymore.... lol MAKE IT FIT. cheers
  16. The mass of an unlightened flywheel mixed with Delta torque cams makes a lugger. I have had it in front of an automatic, and a 5 spd. Both combinations have given more "power" down low. There is plenty of low RPM usage from these vehicles. We all have been doing it for years. Just because the engine is balanced does not mean it can not "lug" .It actually helps it lug really. lol

Is your archaic rump roast using a stick welder? lol love it dude.....
  18. right, right.right.......... I may have to visit the junkyard for that. It would be cool if I could just get an entire donor vehicle. But I only have stuff to trade right now.And probly not enough for that kind of spoob! lol cheers\
  19. He said EJ18... I carbed an EJ22 for my Brat a few years ago now. And I am not going back to a carb just because it is cool. MAybe for some flatland driving, or The Show. But I love fuel injection now. I used to be able to tune a Weber pretty awesome. I even rebuilt a plethora of EA carbs. Carbs have their place for raw POWPOW, but I am in need of the fuel injection. lol cheers
  20. updates? She is looking good. Whatcha been up to? You should stop on down. cheers
  21. SO, are you saying I could run a non turbo engine with a turbo ECM? I have thought about that before. Obviously you would have to tune it to get rid of the turbo stuff , I just didna know that was possible. well, I found an early harness in the garage, It is an attempt at whiddling down from years back. HOw can I figure out if it is done right? lol I guess I mean, I would hate to send it down there, then have it be wrong. Is there anyway to tell if I have the right stuff, plugs? Can I just take detailed pics ? cheers
  22. I really want OBD2 but it looks like I may have to go OBD1...Damnit..... lol I'll start looking. lol I forgot Earl was running a Frankenmotor.Obd1 it is. cheers
