Mounted an LC engineering short throw kit to keep my knuckles uncut. I guess I could have made one. But this one looks so cool.Sorry to disappoint .LOL I also test fitted the Twin Sticks I DID make again.Work well, and shift just fine. top Then had to finally make some kind of progress on the steering .So I coped a 90 I had lying around and put it in. It was kinda fun because of the compound angles. I will barely be able to pull the engine forward, and still be able to fit a steering box .lol Just so you know I am still working on it. It is fun to build. Cheers

Whoops
good thing this isn't in the subie off road section. Jibs happens to be talking about a Scout on its side, I'd imagine. I am sure No one is doubting how awesome the hill is. Just that some folks like to wheel harder than you ever have, Subaru or not. Not everyone likes to have an easy day in the woods. As a matter of fact, MOST people I know like to push it EVERY time. Getting a heep may have been your undoing. lol cheers

3500 lb winch enough for a Gen 2 Brat or Wagon?
You will always want more power. We always went twice the vehicle weight. You can always mount the winch in a cradle and use it in a receiver so that you can store it in a mo-betta place most of the time. cheers

SubaXtreme is coming to USA and Canada!

Wow man, people take way to much serious these days. I was just rambling on, it was supposed to be funny. Anyways, I miss ice t and cornbread. And Andouille sausage. No offense taken, I just like to talk spoob. But usually I keep my threads tidy'd up with cup of shut the codswallop up. Thanks for the compliments on the rig. Much appreciated. And this being a public forum, you are more than welcome to post anywhere. Don't let my flappers keep ya out! cheers

Lift block height
It is most definitely strong enough. At least as strong as the welds. A few of us watched his first monstrosity bend and break. good for him. He is moving on. NOW, Robert. What welder is being used? I am sure it is here, but we should reiterate for my point. If that is a stick welder you are getting better. If it is wire feed TURN it up... It really helps to do sheet metal welding technique of spot welding around the perimeter until it is closed. Your catching up. Dropping all of the body mounts is like number 3 of the Subaru lift manual out of 9. LOL and damn. You think to much! GOod job! KEEP GOING. and going and going and going and going and going. lol cheers

Number 1. I hate votes. Letter B. Piss off with your literate spin on a vernacular that could use help. Answer III. I Actuate the attenuation of my existence through copulation of metal and energy. Number 4. Anyone that says "carry on" to me better have been to my senior in rank at any given amount of time. Viewing your speech patterns through key I would guess that is not the case. I would guess aspiring writer. Which here is of no matter to me. My best friends are cunning linguists. Keep your iterations to your self. Thanks you very much. Oh yeah, You have obviously never spent any time down south . So maybe, just in case, I would watch who your talking to. And be careful about throwing around insults and such. That has to be bordering on an Oxymoron at that point. Cheers

hammer town in johnson valley
Holy codswallop JB. I want to compete in two years time in the EMC. Any advice, hook ups, and/or love you can send my way would be appreciated. Check out my Subota thread here, and a lesser(more) known site that takes less spoob,(pirate) The the Original Poster. If you would have spent the time you did on the dumbass "rock" protection on trimming, and reinforcing underneath with a slight lift, and listened to us about losing weight, you might have had a chance on driving up and down some spoob. But you think you got her licked. that's cool. You struggle to tow a car to the offroad race of the century in hopes you can do a 16" ledge. Good on ya. Next time learn how to drive, and for fuccks sake please don't say you learned anything here. Later Biitches.

And , this answer has been given way to many times. That is a simple search question. The FAQs at the top of this forum and others lead to a ton of information. I only say this because it is true.

Yeah. I am building it to drive to the extreme. I have been doing extreme sports my whole life. There is one thing I learned. Wear the proper gear for the job, and you are able to do it again.

The wheel page could help your search a ton. cheers

it has harnesses, and full suspension seats from PRP racing. I am not worried about hitting it WHEN I flop, I will most likely wear a helmet almost all the time anyways. cheers

long travel Outbacks or making Subarus faster and more reliable offroad
- Smiley..........
And , I drank about 12 new beers last week alone. But I will ALWAYS have a soft spot for PBR. cheers- Smiley..........
The reason for the roof placement is obviously water. I have a habit of drowning stuff. I would need to keep it running for only a minute, but then I would be able to remove the box if it got in the way. It will be removeable. Good thoughts. cheers- long travel Outbacks or making Subarus faster and more reliable offroad
The only thing I see you need advice on is running over things that grow naturally from the ground. Public land or not, probably should not broadcast that for green type people to read. It gives us wheelers a worse name than we already have. Nice dyna pro's. I miss mine. cheers - Smiley..........
