a CJ frame is actually just about right as far fenderwell alignment.

If you have to ask, you probably shouldn't do it.lol It is less about the size, and more about your fab skills. And I can tell you that putting leaf sprung axles sin the front of a brat/EA81 is less than desirable because of the lift you have to have to make it look right. Otherwise you have to push the axle really far forward and it gets really odd really fast. Unless you have extensive fab time and or a myriad of fab tools, I would just put it on a frame. But actually channel and chop it to fit properly. Both are hard projects to do right. The only way I found after trying both of the aforementioned suggestions, was to link the axles. just saying. You have WAY more research to do if this is your main concern so far. cheers

bringing this back to the top. I want to modify an EJ pump for my power assist on Subota. Did you happen to get any pics of this Presslab? And what is your guesstimation of increased PSI on the EJ unit? cheers

Just use a normal EJ 5 spd with a solid coupler, instead of a viscous coupler.easy, and cheap.

It could be as simple as the shifter itself hitting the body. I have had to clearrance that before. cheers

I'm not being negative. I am being realistic. It is not about forging a new way for me, much like these guys, it is about the build. I get that. But through my experience, I should have just done some basic things until I understood the vehicles. They do talk to you after you beat them for a while. I mean hell, JBBVW has beat his car for almost 9 yrs. He has taken it more places than a side by side can go. And we live in the woods. just saying.

The best advice I could give is to just drive the damn car with a basic lift and some all terrains. seriously. I have jumped into more projects w/ little knowledge than anyone I think.LOL gotten rid of almost all of them due to one thing or another. just drive the damn thing, or go by a sxs.
