  1. the presure plate dictates the feel of the clutch the cable has nothing to do with it every manufacturers clutches have a different feel to them and some times from clutch to clutch by the same manufacturer my feelings about it is u will get used to it in time as its costly and or time consuming to change them out just becuse you dont like the feel unless its realy stiff and hurting your knee in witch case resurch presure plates and let us know or a longer pedle would do it to but it would have to be alot longer to make a differance are the ea82 pedles longer than the ea81 pedles if so how much longer i dought it would be enuff to make a differance though and to much longer and its gona hit the floor or be uncomfortable on your foot
  2. i wouldent look for a set of plans just look at as many buggies as you can and find one you like and copy it the best you can
  3. so where are the pics at are you gona buld a tube frame and just use the drive train or are you gone hack the body up in to a buggie
  4. i put the front axle back in it sure was fun but back to normal i would rather have the option of 4wd than run in rwd all the time
  5. one more spacer and then i can test them out worst case i ruined a good intake manifold and wasted some nice aluminum
  6. cut it out with the sawall drilled some holes
  7. we had almost a week of rain so instead od finnishing something i started a new project intake manifold spacers and throtle body spacer and started geting a port plan for my heads so this is what ive got so far remeber im working with basic tools no cnc or layth or mills just a sawsal a drill/drill press and hand files more than likly im just waisting my time here but on the off i get more usable torque out of it and dont make any flat spots ill be happy nothing else its been intertaining and cheaper than going to the movies first a patern then a chunk of aluminum
  8. im woundering about that to i just took the ruff edges off the it because it sticks in to the intake and leaves a big sharp edge i dont know about taking it out completely im in the preping stage for a full reseal of my motor and am practicing my porting of the heads and intake manifold in also fabing up some intake spacers and a throtle body spacer in hopes of geting to the torque sooner
  9. ive refused 3 axles at the counter at orealys because they where loose right out of the box ive instaled 2 i dident refuse that where loose shreded in a few weeks i just installed another new one that was questionable right out of the box will wait and see on this one point being its hard to find good cheap axles i did get one solid axle from orealy though so unless you enjoy changing them it would be worth the money to buy quality new or rebuilt axles used junk yard axles and cheap chinese junk axles are hit and miss
  10. if you dont have to smog it i say run it only realy need to hone it if your installing new rings those rings are already mated to the cylinder worst that will happen is you will get some blow by and burn oil the rust is mostly above the ringlands the rest will go away real fast once that piston starts moving ive run alot of motors in ruff shape like this one just clean it up and run it

my girl and i have his and hers honda trail 90s they rock and would fit easyly on the back of a suby
  12. i agree those bolt holes are always alittle off best to build the bumper and put it on then mark your holes then remove it and drill them its the only way to make sure its not sitting funny on the car someone in one of these threads sead to leave the mounting pieces as long as posable and add a few more bolt holes to spread the load i like the square tube bummper to ive been thinking about puting it back on but the stinger is alittle small and theres no reciver on it but that wouldent be hard to change i like the function of it more than the one im running now but i think im gona build a hybread of sort between the 2 styles next
  13. theres the basic mesurments and some pics of my square tube bumper
  14. this was a great bumper i might put it back on some day
  15. i dont have any fancy programs but i have a tape and some bumpers off the car mounting hole to mounting hole
  16. so i ordered a replacement axle but needed to be able to drive the rig so i instaled a stub and am running rwd till the new one comes in i also just installed my lsd so its a good time to test it first test i stoped with one wheel in a mud puddle in the grass and the other on the pavement i got 3 chirps from the tire on the pavement before taking off so it workes good nice and tight im realy suprized at how good it works but it makes this horable noise making hard turns under power low power its normal im hoping it will mellow out still way better than the welded rear on the street im asuming the noise is just the clutches i hope other than the noise it works great i wish i could run it like this all the time but i dont want to burn anything out its a hole different animal in rwd than fwd
