  1. If they're a "nice" wool hat, i'd spend up to 25 bucks, especially if its personalized and fitted would be a perk, but not a deal breaker.
  2. and apparantly double post for you too I take way to many pictures, i'll send out CD's again this year, so you'll think you where there.
  3. Welcome, 51k, thats like 30 thousand miles? she's a baby, you had better treat her right, they don't become adults until they hit 200k. If you have any problems or want to upgrade we'll be here with all the answers, well most of them anyway.
  4. 50 bucks seems a bit much for hats, but if enough people get them then the costs will come down eh? I'd like a Subie hat with my screen name on it though, that would be cool, but no "old man mesh" on the back, we need wool, or cotton all the way around.
  5. I don't know if i'll be working weekends, but i got a full set of tools and if i've got weekends off i'd like to help.
  6. That seems about right, the cars got what, between 50-75 k? thats about normal. Oh, and welcome to the board.
  7. www.kennedyeng.com They have the adapter plate, and the wiring cheat sheet to make it easy. Its set up for a vanagon, but i used it in my 88 DL, and it made it tons easier, the wiring that is.
  8. Nametags, i think i'll head this project up, tags with your Board name, and your real name, if your board name is really long or hard to pronounce. You'll have to draw your avatar yourself if you want that on there, unless we all want the Seahawk on the nametag
  9. I knew about that brat, i don't know how it slipped my mind. Thats a nice brat too, and i remember, theres another one on the west coast too.
  10. I thought they were talking about Reiters, i guess thats what i get for not reading the thread.
  11. I should be up in town that weekend, and i know i want to get the tires muddy. I'm looking for a house/apartment in Arlington, so i'll be on the way up to Reiter pit. Maybe i'll even have a place by then, which would be nice. I'm runnin SSR's and a rear locker, so i should be good for whatever you plan on runnin. Zap, you still in?
  12. As per the pictures above, yes, its been done. I don't think so in a brat, so you might be the first, and theres no shame in that.
  13. I was more thinking a WRX drivetrain, complete, and getting a licence plate that says "sleeper" and painting the entire thing gloss black.
  14. Suburpy, See if you can get info on his skid plate, if someone makes one like it, or if its a total one off custom. or if you want to "borrow it" and send it to me that would be cool too. I can PM you my address
  15. If this is your car, LUCKY, If you want the pictures removed we can do that too. I'm the guy that left the note on your car. When i say this car is mint, NO rust, none, anywhere, not a scratch on her, and its a DL, which is cool for me. So if you are the owner, and would like to sell it, let me know!!
  16. I had Austin's water wagon, an 1980 EA-81, and if the EJ fit in there, which it did, then it will fit in your 87 Brat no problem.
  17. There was a guy at WCSS7 that did it, he mounted the radiator on the inside of the hood.
  18. I'd also get your alt tested, as the others have suggested, and if you're running heavy duty lights or an amp and speakers, i'd maybe upgrade your power wire too, it couldn't hurt.
  19. It sounds like your "duty C" solenoid is acting up in your Auto tranny. I'm no expert, but there have been a few threads about this very thing in the last month or so, if you do a search, people with better knowledge then me will have the answer that you're looking for.
  20. An extra, thick cable from the engine, any part, to the frame, any part will be sufficient. I put one from the backcorner of mine to the sturt tower cross brace/spare tire holder bolt hole.
  21. Whats the plug look like? Whats the resistance in the plug wire? How's the inside of your disty cap look like? How do they cram the duck inside the turky when they make turducken? Even if the plug looks good on the inside, make sure that the enamel isn't cracked, or it may be bypassing the important parts.

The Forester bits work on the Impreza, for the Legacy you're gonna want Outback parts, depending on what year, i don't think that the old legacys, 90-94 will fit to the Outback parts, but i'm sure someone here could tell you if they do.
  23. They got a wicked awesome skidplate in their "work done" section
  24. Thats pretty sweet, i've never seen it before, so its new to me!!
