I might be able to talk my dad into coming and bringing his loyale.

I was gonna get both from ed, but $200 is too much because I'll am going to pay to have them put on, I don't think I can get them on right, probabaly screw it up. and there is also the cost of paint to consider, we are painting it ourselves though. so I will just get the targa for now has anybody else put these decals on themselves? how hard is it? because If it is something my dad and I can handle, I would get both what replacment panels? I just bent some galvanized metal to fit the holes, it would be easier to make your own though, sorry but I am not going to do panels for people. you are also on the other side of the country, that could also be a problem

I put an EA81 in the tractor when I Get a legacy engine to put in the Brat. I couldn't have done it without my dad, he taught me how to do bodywork and he helped me out with it. More of a two man job to get it done, still expect to have it ready for carlisle. for now I will only get the Targa for it, the horizon stripe is too expensive. I put a few more pics up.

What do you guys think of the rollbar?

I just got the rollbar and loyale pics on. brat site the rollbar and it's modification is on page 3 loyale is on page 4, with a pic of half ring found in tranny.

I finally got to update my Brat page on cardomain, got all the new rust fixes I did. pics of the loyale and the modification of my roll bar will be added tonight. I think this post is subaru related to the older generation of subarus. the Link to the brat is in my sig.

just in case you haven't read the half-dozen posts, my dad's car (and mine, we split the cost and we both drive it) is a 92 loyale with a 4WD 3AT that is constantly having problems. here's what is wrong this time: it will shudder when shifting from first to second if i push the gas too hard (not very hard at all) the shudder is pretty strong, it acts like it is jumping out of gear rapidly. we already replaced the modulator. this may have to do with the chunk of plastic ring that I found in the the tranny fluid pan.

I think I say these on ebay a while back, it was the little brat guy (the actual brat one) with a choice of words under it like "lifted brat", "rusty brat" is this that guy or did somebody else make those decals?

I just test-drived it, that was it, works okay now. I cleaned the governor and honed the edges. now the only thing wrong is it shudders sometimes when it shifts out of first, the higher the throttle the higher the chance it happens I think. thanks man.

It is a 92 loyale with a 4WD 3AT I think it has finally happened, 1st- works okay except when going up a steep incline is shudders (like it is jumping out of gear) and maybe makes a grinding sound 2nd- works fine I think And now the worst part: D- if you start out in drive it refuses to shift out of first, if you put it in drive while moving it acts like it is in neutral, I haven't been able to get it in third at all in earlier posts I replaced the bad modulator and I found a plastic half-ring piece in the tranny fluid pan, along with a hole in the filter. do you think it has finally crapped out?

I had an idea to inject grease into it. it would be a temp fix but you wouldn't have to take it apart. I don't know how much it would help. stiil, it's an idea

just called around and NAPA can get it here tomorrow for $49 or at Advance for $59 now. I'll go get it now and put it in tomorrow. -AK

I was joking about the wheel falling off, forgot to put on a when i typed it, just wanted to know if I could let it go for a time. I'll just get a rebuilt one soon, however. thanks. -AK

A cv on my dad's loyale is going bad, you know making that clunking sound, would it cause any problems to just let it go and not fix it? my dad and I will try to inject grease in it to make it last longer, the wheel is not gonna fall off or anything right?

It lets you eliminate the AC and still stay cool in rally races, because it blows alot of air in.
