  1. Actually, I think all autos are 3.70, anybody know for sure?
  2. Thank you, so it won't slow down my brat much at all then. AK
  3. I want to get a set of cooper weathermasters in 185/80, which is about 24.8 inches. the question is how much will it slow down my car? I checked and it will change the gearing to about .264 taller, making first gear about 3.9, if that helps. AK
  4. the only bodykits I have heard of where for an xt (horrifyingly ugly), and the rx (pretty cool). an rx kit may fit on your loyale, I am not sure, but, you will have to find a bodykit from a junkyard or off of someone on the board, as the are not made anymore.
  5. Cooper Weathermasters ST2 tires are cool too. they are an all-weather tire that is rated for severe snow stuff.
  6. Damn, at 50 bucks those tires are mine. they are a total of 24.8 inches in Diameter, how much rubbing will I get? Somepeople said that 185/80's will fit under the hood? whats all of you guy's opinions on that?
  7. here's a link to the coinversion if you want it http://www.subaru4wd.net/ just click on "rear disc conversion" AK
  8. I don't know, but if you hate them so much it would be worthwile to convert it to rear disc brakes.
  9. I mean come on, how many cavaliers have you seen with 200,000 miles on them. my dads van Burst into flames at 147,000 miles, literatly. cover the odometer on my brat and most people driving would guess it has a quarter of its actual mileage.
  10. most all subaru stuff lasts longer than american stuff, even our crappy auto trannys.
  11. the weathermasters sound kick-rump roast! How much?, it didn't mention a price on the page
  12. not working for me either, just type in the website address from the link.
  13. I think they are less reliable, but the main point is that they are SLOW! (the tranny sucks up an buttload of power). from a standing start in FWD you can floor it and the tires won't even slip, let alone squeal. in conclusion, the EA81 autos suck because they aren't as reliable or as fast as a 4speed. if your friend wants a auto, get a loyale or something, - just NOT anything with an EA81 automatic!
  14. my brat page is at the bottom of my post, also on my page I have a messo' links.
  15. For 13's the biggest that you could fit on comfotably are a 185/80/r13 tire.
  16. I checked e-tire on the internet and they have a snowtire in that size, whitewall too.
  17. I screwed up about the y-pipe, I thought it was catless, it does have a cat.
  18. I am looking for a good kind of 185/80/r13 tire, I would like a nice, cheap (under $65) snow tire and also a good all weather road tire in the same size and cost, anybody have some suggestions? also does anybody have a pic of a brat with 185/80's and a 4" lift? I want to see how it looks.

  20. if the MPFI engine is the same compression as a SPFI and the CIS-E sys. gives about the samer power, I should go with the MPFI. except the CIS-E has easier wiring. How hard would it be to wire a MPFI into my BRAT?
  21. the accel "superstock" coil is Part no. 8140 add a "C" to the end if you want it in chrome
  22. I got most of the crap about the CIS-E thing down, I would post the link but I can't get to the repair manual for some reason. I think I'll have to pay 400+ for it all, 100 engine, 100 tranny kit, 100 for the trans, 50-100 for CIS-E system and more for misc. stuff. = $$$$ Yowza!!! I'll keep ya updated, but I am a procrastiantor and I'm not gonna do this for awhile anyway, just runnin' this by you guys.
  23. I'll just do the airbox does anybody have some pics of the holes drilled in the airbox? I want to know size, exact location, ect......
  24. okay, My dad bought a 92 loyale for a daily driver, how are some cheap ways to get more power out of it? Drill holes in the airbox no muffler or turbo muffler anything else?
