Hello, I am going to repaint my brat soon, I am at least going to get a targa for it, however I am thinking of a horizon stripe too, but I am not sure how it would look on my brat, I wil try to photoshop it on my brat tonight , but what are your opinions? it would be a red stripe on astral gold. my brat is on the link at the bottom of my post, how do you think it would look? I have a color chart for the 84 subarus. It gives the dupont color code. I don't have one for 80 thought, sorry.

I hate the chime, mine had the chime from hell! one of the switces for the doors was broken and it would go off at random. a coupple of nights I would wake up and hear chiming (coming from the basement) I thought I was getting tinitus! I was starring to halucinate that chime during the day and I would imagine it when I was working on the car! i fixed it though. and only after six months at the loony bin.

Try astral gold, it catches the eyes yet it is not overly flashy.

unless.... bushman made just a pushbar without the eye hoops, it could be that.

it is not a bushman! I have one on my brat, look at the top part. on mine the eye hoops are one piece-they lay in a indent on the top of the supports, they don't go through anything on the top, they go ontop.

it's on an 85 brat. here is the ebay link ebay link and the link for the guy's gallery of pics for it gallery it looks like a modified bushman but it is not. just check out my brat at the bottom of my post, it has a bushman and you can see the diferences.

I think they are running 12+ pounds of boost with an intercooler and blowoff valve, exhaust and air intake, I am not sure as I don't have a turbo car and I have never performed these mods.

There are no actual kits for these cars, you have to dig the stuff out a junkyard. I have never heard of anybody changing from quad square to round headlights, I have heard of making it a dual square lights. you have an EA81 motor, not a 71. there are alot of things you can do to it. webber carb.-better carb EA82 SPFI pistons-better compression accel 8140 ignition coil with 8mm wires 180 or 170 degree thermostat, better exhaust. check out the link at the bottom of my post, my brat has the same engine as yours, and on my 2nd page I have a list of mods I plan to do.(more than I listed here). welcome to the board and the seceret order of the GL!
