Who knows? Days and Counting (Edit First post)
I know how that whole "move it or lose it" works. At least they give you notice. When it happend to me, i just woke up the next day and the cars were gone. If they were in my garage or driveway they were safe. -Brian

Another Completed EA to EJ Wagon
We can also thank Tex for Jay... THANKS TEX :-\ (just kidding jay) anyhow, i have only converted a handfull of people to subaruism. One of them being my mother That wagon does indeed look sweet. The EJ looks natural. Is that a EJ20 or 22? I would love to do the same thing to my RX one day. -Brian

Dont our cars make something like 115hp stock? With these graphs it seems your doing worse than stock... or am I reading it wrong? -Brian

RX Springs > XT springs
Remeber the XT6's springs are supporting a ER27 while the RX's is just supporting a EA82T. The springs are stiffer from what ive read. -Brian

RX Springs > XT springs
FWD XT6 springs are stiffer than RX springs, but are a drop in for our struts. -Brian

Longer wheel studs
Chef Tim found some. He used them on EA81 but im positive EA82 hubs are the same. -Brian

Stereo Wiring, Wiring a Stereo, Old School head unit wiring
Forget rear speakers... its an RX. I just ran new wire to the doors, put 6x8's in the doors and ran new leads for my deck. Used the cigarette lighter as a switched hot for the power. Problem is my Amps are in the rear mounted to my box, so I got tons of wire running from back to forth. -Brian

My name is Earl
Just aired on PST. I saw the brat on the opening scene when they drove away (a top shot of the brat). Then the scene where she leaves the motel, has the kids in the jumpseats. They get a few closeups of the brat, like they're trying to advertise or something. T-Top's up... Brat Targa Stripe in full view. Looks like a very straight car. -Brian

Box came today... with goodies inside!
Dunno if garner will be around... he hasnt been on the USMB for a while and I know he's super busy with stuff. Northguy, ive given up all hope of seeing my bumper. After the responce I got from john, i dont even want it now. I will seek the return of my money, or just count it as a loss. The one problem I have is, its not bolt in. I had the flanges removed from my stock downpipe, and had my 2.5" exhaust welded straight to the stock downpipe. I told garner not to include any flanges for the exhaust, just the turbo flange. Now I gotta find someone to cut the old DP off, and weld this one in place. Cant wait to try her out!! So excited!! -Brian

RX Springs > XT springs
Thanks guys. My friend, who shall remain nameless, he came to help me do the springs and he absolutly hates the rims. Comments like these make me feel alittle better inside -Brian p.s. NO TO COILOVERS!!

RX Springs > XT springs
Alittle oversteer never killed anyone. Actually, i do want the rear to swing out alittle if possible. -Brian

RX Springs > XT springs
Naw its just where I want it now. Sits perfectly. -Brian

RX Springs > XT springs
Nope... i got RX springs to replace the XT springs i had in there. A few months ago I put some GR2's from a 2WD XT in my RX to drop it. It dropped the front end about 2" and the XT springs are much softer than the RX ones. here is a side by side comparison of them: RX springs on the right, XT on the left. I sold my old RX springs and struts to Noah at the WCSS, and found a RX in the local yard and snagged the springs from that. Put them in yesterday, and i realize this is something i shoulda done along time ago. I might have been able to keep my 15" pugs if I had done this in the 1st place. -Brian

RX Springs > XT springs
So i got sick of bottoming out everytime I left my driveway, hit a speedbump, took a turn too hard. So i got some RX springs from the junkyard and put them in yesterday. Got about 1" back from the front end, and the ride is alot more stiff. Matches the rear end now and is alot of fun to drive again. Here's a pic of before: After: -Brian

Box came today... with goodies inside!
Met up with Garner at the WCSS and did alittle trade for a new downpipe. I had him make me a 2.5" catless downpipe with divorced wastegate dump. Just got it today and it looks SWEET! I have another VF7 in a box waiting to get attatched to it, so let the games begin! -Brian

Who's Who, Offroad 2005
Well this sucks 2005 rolling to an end and I have yet to do any wheeling at all. As a matter of fact, this is the only time I have taken any pictures of my wagon all year. Wish I could say I was trailering it to the trails for some hardcore extreme off-roading, but i cant -Brian

How to get the front Hubs off?
Glad that worked for you. For people who might not have a brake piston tool... here's a DIY version: Steve I might need to borrow the tool you made. I think im going to have to do brakes on my RX tomorrow. -Brian

Some JDM AWIC goodness
Dont use the AT side of your new radiator. I thought of doing that when i had my AWIC and I was explained that the radiator temps will be much higher than your AWIC's radiator. Chances are the engine coolant in the main radiator, will only heat up the AWIC's radiator if attatched to eachother. I'd suggest using an ATV radiator. From a 4 wheeler or a motorcycle. They are all over ebay and you should be able to find one to replace your AC stuff. The other problem is pumps. What are you going to do to move all that water? I was thinking of using two smaller pumps rather than 1 large one. It will be cool to see when you get it done. -Brian

Custom Gauge Question
Ive ran my oil pressure gauges through the plug in the firewall as well. Just cut a slit through the plug and it acts as a good gromet. The main problem I had was the type of tubing that came with the kit. It didnt take long to get fragile and break, and that makes for a nasty mess if it happens in the cab somewhere. -Brian

Turbo Boosting Options
Yeah, i wouldnt be messing with boost until you have it intercooled. And that home made controller didnt work for me. I think im just going to save for a real boost controller, but wait until my downpipe and new turbo go in. The Home made controller is a better idea than the hose with a hole in it. -Brian
