  1. I bought a sheet of gasket paper from Kragen for like $3. Then I used the spacer on my EA81 as a stencil and cut out new ones everytime I did my carbs. Also, a good light coat of some sealant never hurts. -Brian
  2. White smoke is coolant. You need to make sure, when your swapping carbs, that you are using a new carburator gasket every time. If you do not, coolant will get from the water passage into the intake and that would cause the problem you are having right now. -Brian
  3. THat sucks. Your a gross polluter. I'd say wait 3 years and then it will be a classic. -Brian
  4. Nope, i dont see a thing. -Brian
  5. I might be selling them soon after I do the 5lug swap. The 13" spoked rims are from some Subaru i found at the junkyard. ive never seen a set before in person, but I did know they existed. -Brian
  6. Just some subie rims I found at the junkyard. Here is my RX with 15" Pugs on it: After I put the new front struts and lowered it, the 15" rims were too big. I had to replace them with the 13" spoked rims in order to save my fenders and tires. Too bad you arent in Sacramento. There are a few sets of pug rims in the local junkyard. -Brian
  7. When you rebuilt it, did you replace all the gaskets and use new ones? -Brian
  8. Did you buy it like that or did you paint the trim white? The decal looks good, but the hubcaps gotta go. Cause I like to share, here's my RX -Brian
  9. Look on the back of your intake manifold. -Brian
  10. There is a dude who put SPFI on his hatch and then a turbo on that. He ran it pretty well, cant remember his name but he hasnt been seen for years. -Brian
  11. F*CK O*F??? Thanks.... i think i will. I sent you plans, we agree'd. Even tho the car it was supposed to go on is now dead, doesnt mean I dont want the bumper i paid for. I never told you to stop production on it, although I do remember saying it wasnt a big deal and there was no hurry... but that was 2 years ago and no hurry doesnt mean forget about it. But now, you know what... you can forget about it. Next time im in Eugene, i expect to recieve my money back. Or you can mail it, but im not waiting another 2 years. -Brian
  12. Noah... is that a TWB Front bumper/guard on that EA82 of yours? Here's my lifted rig: -Brian
  13. Looks like my plans are off as well. I just went to do a brake job on my RX and realized the tweakers who broke into my old house have gotten ALL my tools I cant even take the rims off my car. Im going to have to go shopping for some new tools and some new house stuff, which will drain my bank account. -Brian
  14. Never heard of any type of system. Dont know how safe it would be, you would be altering your brake system which might be more dangerous than just having standard brakes. You'd need to impliment sensors and install computers and such that would be pretty involved. -Brian
  15. Okay hows this sound? I should be ariving tomorrow afternoon or night. I'd like to be there by 5pm, so how's about we do the rib thing tomorrow night? Then monday morning do some wheelin? I kinda wanna be home tuesday morning. I have alot of stuff to take care of at the new house still, would like to use 1 of my 3 day weekend to do that. So wheel all day monday and then I bounce monday night? Jeremy? Dave? -Brian
  16. Not sure. Emily should see this and maybe she can get in contact for you. -Brian
  17. No luck finding our video Andrew. But I did find all the video I had from my HP trip and with Tony & Adam. I'll look on other hard drives and CD's later. I have 5 PC's sitting in my office from the move. I gotta get em running to check them out. -Brian
  18. I was able to move some of it, but not all of it. I think i have a video on the hard drive. I hope i do, cause the people who broke into my old place grabbed my camcorder bag with the only copies of my videos from that vacation trip. Hatch patrol run, wheelin with you in Oregon. Wheelin with Adam and Tony in Oregon, wheelin local with some guys... Anyhow... let me check and see what i have on the hard drive. It might also be backed up on a CD somewhere in this mess of mine. -Brian
  19. Thought the rib cookoff was monday? I have Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off. Was thinking maybe a trail run on Sunday would be nice and then ribs on monday, dont know if I'd want to make the drive home monday night after feasting on ribs all day though I dont know what everyones days look like for sunday tho... so open to all suggestions. We might have to do a quickie brake job on my RX before the drive home tho... they are getting alittle sketchy. -Brian
  20. I have tried it. -Brian
  21. Alexx, this would solve your problem: As for 1stSubaruGL there... looks like you'd be best off making a plate out of wood or something. Stacking 2 adapters looks kinda botched and unproffessional, but then again so does a double din sized stereo in a EA82 -Brian
