OK hows my list coming, so far have done some on the lift still along ways to go, got a line on some used 27" BFG AT s , got the axles for the Dual range swap ,been driving the car daily I realy like the car, even installed a cd player its been 4 years sence i had a radio in the car even caught a mouse
  11. Ive done it for months with no issues, this is with a ea82 wagon with no load in the rear , just me driving to work, nothing breaks, its hard on the rear tires to turn sharp
  12. this is what I did along those lines, it only has a 2" suspension lift with 27" tires
  13. OK Zap what would you suggest?? , Im looking for a tire thats good for everyday on the road but preforms well ocasionally offroad, I dont want a real agresive tire thats heavy wears quick and gets bad gas mileage
  14. whose running BFGs all-terrains, ? what do you think ? also where a good place to buy them ? what size ya running? Pictures? thinking this might be the route to go on my daily driver
  15. how many Watts on that CB??
  16. on the 4" EA82 lift you can go 3" at the engine crossmember, and 2" at the radius rod, on my white car I have a 3-1/2" lift at the struts, 2" at the engine and zero at the radius rod with a spacer on the rod to bring the tire forward, , now on the radius rod go 2" and it will be fine ,. If you want just the strut mount peices and weld in your own pipe we can do that
  17. this guy made what your talkin about, you might consider a Dual Range transmision for lower gears
  18. excelent clearance modifications  I have a few of those
  19. I wondered about that ABS unit if there was a way to use it backwards sortof
  20. wow I totaly forgot about this thread, heres a cutter brake used on sand rails they work awesome for turning and braking . if there was a way to get more leverage out of this it should work, I had one in my first subaru but couldnt get enough force to keep that wheel in the air from spinning, since then have found that a welded rear diff is the way to go
  21. here it is, machine work done, now for the welding, will ship out mid next week
