Heres my next car will be picking it up this week its a stock 86 got a carbeb EA82 and dual range, and a few dents, plan on doing a EJ2.2 swap with weber carb and a escort distributer , the EA82 engines up for sale if anyone needs one, good runner, here it run heres the carb setup and the disty plan on liftin the car after the engine swap SJR
  2. I have a extra car, if someone wants to beat it up on the trail for me SJR
  3. my first time out offroading a subaru I destroyed the clutch, now I dont ride the clutch and I let the car lug down and die , no more clutch problems, rev it way up drop the clutch and go SJR
  4. Jeff what setup do you buddys have? lifted, mud tires, and locked rear diff??
  5. just change out the transaxle with a 5 speed dual range ,
  6. on the front of a EA82 you can go 2" beyond stock movement downward max , 1-1/2" easy , the auzzies seem to have figured it out

  11. Rod came over the other night and we got talkin about liftin a EA82 sedan , Im interested and would like to see some pics if anyone has one, theres one here in the paper that hit a deer , I know theres a few out there anyone have one in the Bellingham area for sale?
  12. Welcome first decide how much lift you want 2" , 4" ,or 6" its basically just blocks, the only tricky part is the front strut towers need to keep the correct camber, with your skills and our help you can do it yourself

  15. I am planning on it , havent beeen out wheelin since last summer, will be on channel 2 on the CB Rod If you could come by Saturday morning the 19th, bring the Hatch , and we can finish your EJ adapter its already cast
  16. looks good , if you get the weight towards the rear say have over 1/2 the weight on the rear it will go awesome, like a VW Baja bug or rail turning brakes are fun too I like the look hope it comes to fruition SJR

  19. yes, as long as everyones equipt and were not broke down most the day
  20. I prefer a solid car over a rust bucket, even for a wheeler, dont want the thing falling apart , hey Jeff when are we going to take that thing to walker?? I havent went in a few months need to go again, bring a complete set of axles and lock that rearend and Im up to it , SJR
  21. too much offset makes it hard to steer, not sure of the clearance on those stuts
