EJ swap Harness were to get stand alone
Scott in Bellingham replied to Scott in Bellingham's topic in Subaru Retrofitting
is there any new off the shelf stuff out there -
thats me, on the 2" lift Ive ran 26" mud tires with just a little trimming up front of the front tire, I wouldnt recommend anything bigger then 27" wich would require trimming of the fenders, on the 4" you could go 29" with a little trimming, for camping go with the 2" and some nice All -terrain tires, SJR

I tried the turbo car out on some muddy hills and the thing chocked up and died , ended up being a nice mouse nest in the airbox, it matched the one in the glove box , I got that cleaned out after runnnin the battery dead then let it sit tried the hill again, the thing gets all smoky and runnin rich I think the turbo is leakin oil into the intake so maybe I could bypass the turbo to get it to run good, anyway I have 2 week to get her up to trail speed Im lookin forward to the trip, a buddy with a Sammy may come also SJR

Bumpers offroad type

Heres a front view of the bumper design, I have most the design details worked out, now to get quotes on the material and labor costs , what I would like to do is have 10 bumpers built up, now I dont have the working capital (money) to do that so this will have to wait or if I had some of you place orders backed by full payment in advance then I could finance the project and introduce a new product into the world of Subarus , I figure within a week I should know the costs .SJR -
Jeff all locked?? mud tires?? I think we should go up that trail with th gate and shoefly, only been up there once

Heres some leaked info I found, I understand this is currently under deveopement in the Idea and engneering stage this is not the final design, I understand it will also have ends capped with another recovery point at the ends -

to keep the wiring simple and durable, with this setup all you need is one wire to the distributer and a fuel line to the carb, it makes putting a newer engine into a older car that much simpler, no wiring harness to modify, no sensors or computer to set up and wire, granted to get the highest preformance out of a newer fuel injected engine you go with the electronics, with this setup as long as you have some juice in your battery and some gas you can drive the thing home,
