Need pictures and Videos for my web site,
I have some new software Im playing with at my store www.sjrlift.com site , I am looking to set up a gallery with cars offroad mostly lifted and modified machines if you have any pictures you would like me to post please post them in this thread or send them email or private message, they must be your own and by posting them here your giving me permission to put them on my site, also a description would be nice like year, model, condition, engine and mods, lift kit brand, lift size amount , rim size, tire size and make any other tid bits you want to throw in, a before picture would be cool also if you have one, also would like some Transfercase modded rigs with detailed pictures , I will look threw them all and pick out a few to post, also I may edit your comments about your car, along with this gallery on the site I plan on setting up a section for detailed modifications that aid in offroading, tires, gearing, diffs, winches, bumpers, racks, lights, etc, If you have any good write ups and pictues on this I am looking for that also, I just ordered up a new computer so I will be up to all this also will be able to capture edit and burn DVDs thanks, SJR

SJR Ultimate offroader project
made a small driveshaft, added a bearing to the front of the ford tranny,it takes up all the length of the stock driveline , lots of gears, hardly ever use the lowest gears but its there when needed, I would go with the Nissan 720 transfercase and 4.11 diffs and a EJ 2.2 will be plenty low enuff gearing and good power , and simple

EJ into EA81 + 4" lift
another option is to run a ford distributer and a carberator

EJ into EA81 + 4" lift

Lockers with r180
similar yes, the nissan 720 truck I have the housing "look" similar but its actually larger then the subaru housing, also it has bolt up flanges at the diff heres a R180 heres a R160( Subaru size)next to a R200 heres a good article http://www.ratdat.com/technical/R200_swap/R200_swap.html what we do is just weld up the spider gears and your locked

How do ea82s and ea81s compare? Opinions a plenty.
heres a car i spent 2 weeks on and had a blast with it Its the best EA82 Ive driven offroad, the most money was for the tires, and winch of course, something like this could be road legal, this is only a 2" lift

How do ea82s and ea81s compare? Opinions a plenty.
that pics from your folder, If your like most of us you have all these great Ideas and little money or time to see them through, Ive found the newer cars have stronger axles, If you go stock the EA81 has greater torque at low speeds then the EA82, weights a big killer drop all you can and dont add alot with heavy bumpers, rack etc. the EJ engine is definatly the way to go if you can swing the cash, go with the style you like as your going to drop alot of time and $$ into this project, I wouldnt make a Offroader into a Daily driver, they are both different animals, I take that back if alls you have is some all-terrain tires and a small lift,

EJ with a Carb and Disty what do you have?
disty mt module ideal good stuff, now if a parts car is a good risk getting the complete system is preferable , cut the wire so you get the plugs get disty with all the wires with sparkplug wires and the coil wire coil and plugs and wires on the coil and coil mt. that way I would have everything I need and wont have to peice together things thanks Scott
