  8. thank you everyone, it was a 2.2 I decided against it and picked up a 90, so everything tyhe same
  9. like it says, also is the automatic the same in a 90? is the auto starter the same as a munual one ?
  10. Nah Its just machinery Ive done the same thing many times , start a project and never finish, but in the process you have had experiance and learned along the way, that sometimes is more valuable then the finished product, its people that realy count anyway
  11. Ive got a SU side draft off a Volvo Im looking to put on a EJ only interested in low end power for offroad, think it would work OK?
  12. Justys are fine just dont have the low range you need , also not much clearance underneath, no lift avaliable , if your going to go threw the trouble get a car with a Dual range
  13. EA82 axles are pretty tuff, especially with your lower weight , you dont want to stress them more then 1" over stock to do so you will have more failure , alot of guy have the stubs twist off the rear diff, myself Ive never seen it, the smaller the tires and the less the weight will keep you alive, Ive had trouble with the front radius rods, they tend to bend when you hit stuff hard, theres aways the loose nut holding the steering wheel:eek:
  14. Kenny I need that diff unless you opt to buy it , even then I will need the open diff so I can weld one up, also lets go out to your friends place you were talking about Scott
  15. thats great keep us updated I want to see that thing when your finished
