  1. do all subaru diff ring and pinion gears have the same mounting bolt pattern ? if so you might be able to take a newer 4.11 or 4.44 diff and install the 3.9 R&P gears, if your running a second transfercase and a rear diff up front then no problem, use 4.11s or 4.44s diffs

  3. looks like those things are hollow, what about the newer style axles that slip in without those hollow stubs? anyone tryed them ,? like the legacys and imprezas have?

  13. You realize how far away you are? Im looking to go to Walker in a few weeks got a buddy with a Tracker he wants to try out, also my new wheeler should be going
  14. has the rear diff been dropped any ? with a 3" lift the diff should drop 2-3 inches
  15. axle front or Rear?? lift at Diff how much, lift at wheel how much, ?? I ran my car in low range all the time on the road, ( unhooked linkage) much more power

  20. Back on it after a year, its a roller now on the 30" Kooks, went with a ranger pickup trany/transfer
  21. heres mine with some 30 x 9.50 -15s with a 6" lift
  22. whose all interested and what would you pay , Im thinking a 4" lift all around . got a 91 legacy to use for a pattern, what other models and years would this 91 work on
  23. got the car last night, its the nicest Subaru Ive ever owned, whats happening is transmission fluid is coming out the diff dipstick check hole the diff oil level is way over full and the tranny dipstick shows nothing, I dumped 2 quarts into it and drove it home, made it and it started slipping by the time I got home also the oil pours out the diff dipstick hole right onto the hole exhast which makes a nice smoke screen,it does have the rear 3.9 , its a clean car well mantained got it for $250 the plans are to change it out to the D/R trans do a 2" lift would like to find some 14" chrome import truck rims and some 205/75 all-terrains will be my daily driver , not a wheeler, ( the wheelers in the garage being built up) will keep you guys posted , my be a while as I have the wheeler to build zzz zzz SJR
