a few of us went out Northfork Saturday, I would like to go out again ,maybe Walker Valley , or Reiter mid November.

I just talked to Uncool were going to meet at IGA @ 2:00 he has a red hatch , so who ever wants to come meet us there , the weather looks good

I am planning on going, how about meeting at Dodsons IGA food store at Nuggets corner at say 1:00 or 2:00 ?? Scott

super sport ht 215/75 15 at walmart 72.42 each, it is a mud terrain, I don't know anyone using this tire, you won't find it on line, for $300 I personally would give it a try. My swampers I just got ended up over $600

rim 15 x 8 5" out 3" backside, used them just because I had them layin around, they stick out way to far , looking for different rims, like 15 x 7 4" backside, didnt sipe

gearing for one thing, dint want to go bigger then 27 " wanted a radial for quieter ride and on road traction I like the side wall grippies Super Swamper has thee most agressive tread in that small a tire I live in the Northwest where most the offroading will include Mud These tires will most likely end up on my Ultimate Offroader which will be a towed/trailered rig, maybe go with some Kuhmos on the Tow/Daily driver Turbo rig

got my tires ,heres a few pics . there awesome alot quieter on the road then I had expected , cant wait to try them out

If we go to North Fork here are some directions at Bellingham take Sunset exit travel out Mt. Baker Highway, past the Hwy 9 intersection to the "Welcome Store" @ Mosquito Lake Rd, Turn right, cross over the Nooksack river bridge & take the first Left on to North Fork Rd. then travel about four miles or so staying to the Left @ all intersections. You will pass two gravel pits where people have been playing with their ORV's of choice (a lot of bikes and quads) The first trail is about a half mile past the second pit. There are 5 trailheads if I remember correctly & they are all off the right side of the rd when headed in. The DNR sign says "Morell Flats" the pit refered to is the second pit , it will be on left, the first one is on the right , not really a pit maybe 1/2 pit last time we went out we all met and drove out, played in the 2nd pit and took a trail off the back side , out toward the river got my Tires so Im ready to go out Mud- got a new job works late

whats your estimated time to be on road, maybe ferry landing time and plan for Saturday, my wife has a cousen that lives out there ( at Port townson) "Swiss Lavender Farm " or something

how about Midday Friday At Northfork?

it is started, this is the design process, you got to remember Im not as young as I used to be , I dont move as fast either , also Ive learned if I have a well thought out plan befor I do any shop work the project will go faster and there will be less rework, also this is not the only Iron I have in the fire, I will probably lift another wagon and finish up the details on the EA81 lift first befor I start cutting up my present Daily driver SJR

the guys up here mostly run Toypta pickup, the ones that get alot of trail use have the rubber mounted round lights that mount on a flat surface,and are inset,they usually mount them in the tailgate away from the corner, like you see on the back of semi trailers , most all the corner mounted taillights end up broken or cracked

been shortened 6" under stock. also angled up at joint to produce more clearance . we really had a lot of fun with this one, took it to the sand dunes , went better in reverse on steep hills, I eventully put a top on it , finished the front and put alum sheet over the door holes and drove it on the road,

if you could get the whole IFS set up out of a toy , maybe one someone has just removed doin a solid axle swap , I would go for it mount the whole thing in there as a unit , then you could have a locker and or locking hubs SJR

if somebody will send me a adapter, or a weber , or maybe just a weber gasket I could make one for you and then I would have a pattern for anyone else that would want one SJR

my latest comp photothis one would require a T-case and front diff and front drive moved ahead , would have awesome aprouch angle and good weight distibution, just a idea

is there any active Offroad Subaru Clubs out there? not just a 4x4 club with a few soobies but a group thats about all they do is Subaru. in active I mean have a good size group of members , hold regular sheduled events/outing/meetings, where a guy could go to get inolved with the sport, I have heard of the Hatch Patrol Club , is it active?
