WOOHOOO... as far as food and drink preferences,i'll eat pretty much anything cept chicken....unless it's boneless. i'll bring some chips and soda,if you need me to bring plates/cups/forks/etc?.......just say the word. BTW-there wouldn't happen to be any place to trail ride, would there? just not sure if i'll bring bert or pip-squeak... -
the one club i tried many yrs ago asked what i had for 4wd,when i told him it was a 86 subaru gl....he paused for a minute and then proceeded to tell me that if i went on a trail ride with the club..i might break something.i have a feeling he was laughing at me on the inside... maybe this time i'll find a group that's more open minded..
-
great view. awesome lookin trails.....i'm jealous cool video clips.....(i didn't realize that photo bucket hosted vid clips)
-
i agree with you on the making sure it's 100% legal first.i'm definatly gonna be doing that before doing any test wheeling... i checked around and i found acouple sites that list legal wheeling trails..they called them multi-use trails (so i assume that it should be ok for me to go down it?,gonna check first) i'm also gonna see if i can find a local 4wheeling club and see where they go.

i did that while blasting through those piles of snow left by the plows when they go through intersections.front plate was rapped around the front bumper and plate cover was totaled(only area of cover that servived was were it attached to bumper) i've also left behind a muffler, leftside tail light assembly..
-
i hope you got rid of it when you got home (the ford part)
-
when i was there the other day,i didn't see one sign at all.matter of fact i came across a guy with his daughter on their atvs, and some guy walking his yapper of a dog.... i meant to stop and ask the guy on the atv and ask him if he knew about the land.. yup,hang-glided over the area with my dig cam...

75subie-what do you mean by DEC trucks? and i'm definatly gonna be lifting, just don't know when... this is a topographical map of the area and it shows some class 6 roads but prob is that it's from 1988.i think i'll have to find some updated ones. http://terraserver.microsoft.com/usgsentry.aspx?T=2&S=11&Z=19&X=753&Y=11884&W=2&qs=sandy+brook+street%7cmanchester%7cnh%7c 91loyale-yah,i'v been meaning to find some topo maps of manchester area(and surounding areas)--i know bad spelling

aren't all car doors removable :-p if only i had my old gl i'd do the same(looks cool) but i just don't feel like dealing with all the wires an such on my legacy..
-
i guess i should wait to post this when i find out if my legacy will be able to get onto the trails but....there's a bunch of atv trails that looks like my legacy would fit on are with-in the red line . went in today on my brothers mountain bike to check it out.only two problems are that the main entrance is near a residential area and there's two large bolders placed on the main trail.(one is on one side and the other is placed about 20-30 feet away on the other side of the trail)almost like saying that they don't want cars out there.when i was there earier,i saw what looked like to be tire tracks from a truck or other passenger vehica...l if there's no signs saying "no cars allowed" would you enter if your subie would fit?? i just don't feel like getting a ticket or worse.....i guess i could just say hell with it and give it a try. (maybe after a good rain when it's muddy)

dude,it's lookin awesome.....you ever think about making and selling them?i'd wanna be your first customer:brow: BTW-i'm amazed someone's still playing with a old nintendo system:D (i see the controllers in the upper left corner)

subie94 replied to DiGiT_xero's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
West Coast Subaru Show. i hear it's the show to go to if your a subaru fanatic. unless i fly over, there's no way i could go to one . hope you get the loyale running.i had a gl that wouldn't start after having a tech school replace the timing belts that broke.turns out they had the cam on driversside turned 180 (so timing was way off) about an hours worth of work by my normal mechanic and she was running perfect. BTW-have you checked your belts? even though i had two new ones in,mine kinda backfired (no start) untill i had the timing fixed. -
kinda like having a transmission sitting in your bath tub if your gonna do a rattle can paint job, walmarts got this paint that looks like hammered steel (could look cool)

subie94 replied to fnlyfnd's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
glad to hear all went well. what is it about CT? what the state have something against soobys try driving along then have a sparkplug blow out and (1) not be able to find where it went and (2) burn your hand trying to find it near the engine. -
i agree,it's only half done.your supposed to cover the whole soob in mud. that reminds me that my legacy needs a mud bath....i think it's time for a ride out to weare
