I guess this is not happening this weekend uh! hey paul you know you guys are always welcome to ride with me if you are bringing the 2WD Lego down... whats the date then, there are a few people interested of going, we need a set date. Oh btw i got 2 way radios!!!! and a CB radio too.. so that should be fun
  2. there is a fuse inside the engines compartment fuse box that is for the dome lights, cig lighter, radio etc, that fuse got me by surprise, i did not know that fuse would control so many things... its just a regular fuse... i think a 20a
  3. use some big washers on each side of the bolt, and add some nuts to keep the washers in place, that way you dont have to replace your cat right now and get that gasket replaced
  4. why cant you fix it? its easy buy a new gasket and slap in there, or are the ends too rusted?
  5. here is a pic of my legacy outback struts and springs all around, gained about 3 to 4 inches after new tires installed alignment was done and it sits perfectly now
  6. use subaru gasket only! i've done many timing belts and water pump replacements and everytime i used something other than a gasket by subaru it always leaked. try advance auto parts, autozone or napa they should have aftermarket gaskets
  7. cool 12-13th weekend is good for you then, its gotta be on a saturday

  9. i would bet money that your problem is a inner tie rod combined with a bad ball joint... i just did that work in my car and i thought the play was only the tie rod, so when i looked at the ball joint it was totally gone! double check your ball joint too
  10. nice green SVX, i used to have one just like it do you have a SVX competent mechanic? if not i know a guy here in south jersey that only deals with SVX oh and.... welcome to the board!

  13. ok i have solved my problem by getting a used OEM axle from the junk yard for $20, replacing the boots and returning the aftermarket axle... the used axle didnt have ripped boots i just replaced them to make sure they'll last long enough.... and guess what!? I HAVE NO VIBRATIONS!!!! i hate aftermarket crap!@ i will never buy axles at advance auto parts again

  15. that CV just pissed me off, it sounds like it is a worn out CV and it vibrates!!! so i am definetelly getting my old one redone and putting it back in the car... now is there something i could be doing wrong? any tips and tricks for when i put the original back in the car?
  16. this is for a 95 legacy i just finished putting the exchanged axle in, and.... its doing the same thing!!!!! so i am gonna get my OEM fixed up. The outer boot is torn so i guess i can slap a new boot in and put it back in the car and return the aftermarket one
  17. well i decided to change one of my axles today and i bought a brand new axle and when i was done with it i had a nasty vibration when accelerating... now i know i installed it the right way, so i went down to the parts store and got another one to install tomorrow and return the defective one... could the inner joint be defective and give that vibration?
  18. double offset joint? is that correct? how do i fix this and what is the cause
