  1. are craftsman tools still being made or did they get shipped to China like the rest?
  2. yeah, they are too small. I had to cut the old ones off.
  3. I had a bad ground wire under the dash by the steering column not sure which one but I wiggled the bundle of wires an everything lite up now if I can only figure which wire it then gets a battery. my old battery froze because my trickle charger died.
  4. I got a set from pull and save but I must have been from a sedan because they are too small.
  5. it is hard to find a factory shop manual. I downloaded the one from bumble bee, but that's as close as i can get.
  6. there are three kinds of threads fine thread, coarse thread, and cross thread.
  7. what year and type (gl, dl, wagon, sedan, ect.) will interchange with a 88 dl wagon front brake caliper and holder?
  8. my book is a 86 and my dl wagon is an 88. will the book work or did they change from 86 to 88?
  9. got the bolt but the caliper was too small.
  10. I wish I was stockpiling axles then I wouldn't need to buy any. he was in jail for practicing law without a licence.
  11. that's what I thought the used one I have now fits on the tranny end but not on the wheel end. it was free and will do as a core.
  12. I am trying to replace my drivelines on my 88 dl 4x4 wagon the tranny no. is 997535 the engine tag says ea82saw3ac I vaguely remember the previous owner saying she thinks her mechanic changed the transmission but that has been a few years. is this the right transmission for this car? I got most of the other parts for the front end except for the brake rotor, caliper, and outer tie rod end. everything got hot from me doing stupid and towing without an axle in. the tire went sideways caught on fire broke the brake line had nice flames and brake rotor was red hot. so I am rebuilding it all slowly.
  13. he was in jail when the cars were taken by the county i live just down the road next door to the sheriff.
  14. i tried towing my 88dl wagon without axles and it worked for 1/2 miles then went south wheel went sidways caught on fire melted the brake line thank god for mud puddles.
  15. I am having the same problem on my 88 dl wagon the shaft I got used is too short but it was free and my old one was missing. I put my new bearings in as well as the new seals. the calipers I got from pull and save are too small though. if I could only remember what Subaru I got it off of. it is too small between the mounting bolts to bolt up to the hub. o well, it will teach me to buy new brake parts instead of used.
  16. that's too bad since it is legal to keep the road kill in Washington now, I mean you got to get something out of it.
  17. will the brush bar off of a brat fit my 88 dl wagon? we have a lot of deer around here that like to jump out in front of cars.
  18. on my 88 dl wagon, i am replacing the front calipers and the top bolt is missing. I have new pads, axle seals, all I need are new c calipers and brake rotors. I could and probably will get the bolt at pull and save but every time I buy the bolts they disappear by the time I reach home.
  19. had too many honey does and a mild heart attack. now, where was I?
