  1. Error codes? Perhaps the turbo isn't sitting on the uppipe correctly (warpage or something) Although quite honestly, even though you said you tightened stuff, I really think something is leaking under boost.
  2. That is the Aux Air Valve. It controls cold idle. Your troubles could very well be a Coolant Temp Sensor, which is in no way related to your temp reading on the digidash.
  3. Choose the one that fits your need. No one here can help you with that
  4. Never did find one locally. Closest place that had them advertised and actually had them in stock when I looked about a year ago, was in the UK
  5. The head bolts are 11x1.25 Good luck finding a tap for that. I gave up and bought timeserts.
  6. Sounds cool. EA82s are fun with bigger turbos;) Pics?
  7. I used an SPFI disty in my Turbo Wagon. I can't imagin why he couldn't use asn MPFI disty in an SPFI car. 87+, all the SPFI/MPFI/Turbo EA82s use the same advance
  8. If you want it bad enough, it will fit.
  9. The NA MPFI has ~100 hp IIRC. However, the distributor should be the same as the loyale disty. Not real useful for a 'power tune'
  10. Thats where your fuel pump is located. Either it is leaking or one of the hoses has a hole in it. Itrs really easy to get out, but before you go riping things apart, it would be a good idea to find out specifically where it is leaking from.
  11. Shouldn't have to. Mine didn't require tapping.
  12. D'oh! Sorry.. can't find your number. I imagine showing up at your house made up for that a little Andy.. Sorry man.. no way in hell I can make it to spokane before I leave.
  13. Well.. I'm here. So far mark has called me back.. anyone else get messages yesterday?
  14. Pssst.. XT6 brakes are not an upgrade for an RX..they are the same.
  15. Adjustable coilovers for the win. Keep stock height, just stiffen it up a little;)
  16. Depends on where you get your parts. I have seen people spend anywhere between $75 and $350
  17. ... Um.. Okterrific.. I'll just drive around 'the north end' until I find it..:-p Besides.. I'm a southend boy
  18. Like this? http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/data/500/82Picture_116.jpg Yes, its been done by a number of us. Search, then if you have any questions, post.
  19. JP,AU,NZ not gonna find one here unless its an imported front cut
  20. Ideally, you would have the specialy tool/tap thing to seat that indsert with. However, in this case I defer to Shawn's judgement. He has probably used those things more than I have.
  21. Thats exactly what I thought when I saw it. If done right, those are neat inserts. Oh, and just to ease your mind, that was an installation error. It wasn't put in far enough (or drilled out correctly based on what I can see on the back side of the head. Those things do NOT back out. Definitely repairable though.
  22. Let us know where he is. I'll stop in on him this coming week when I'm in town.
  23. Fronts could be made to fit in combination with some XT6 parts. Backs are pretty much a no go altogether.. uless you want to do some fabrication. If you want it bad enough, anything will fit.
