  1. I would like to know as well.. I don't like the way the factory soob nuts fit on my Konig wheels
  2. Knowing what fuel system each has will go a long way toward being able to advise you. Each fuel system uses a slightly different compression ratio. Oter differences as well.. Overall, $600 probably isn't too bad if theres lots of good extra parts. PS - no Tcase in a soob.
  3. Mine didn't take any modification to make it fit:-\ Even has the P/N in one of the links I posted
  4. Running Turbo pistons in a nonturbo car would only result in a drop in power due to the subsequent lower compression.
  5. Not too lazy, still waiting for parts. If I could just have a full day to work on it, I could probably get everything done.
  6. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=28681 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=22170&page=3&pp=15&highlight=maf+adapter Search is your friend.
  7. if its a cone filter, youre going to have to remove the airbox and get a mass airflow sensor adapter so the cone has something to clamp on to
  8. That ground has been covered. You end up with a lean condition at high boost.
  9. I had the same issues with my wagon..Grounds were the key. Do you have a digidash?
  10. If you want customer service and prices that won't make your butt pucker, 1stsubaruparts.com is the way to go. (No I don't work for them.. Or know anyone who does, simply a satisfied return customer who got fed up with the 'other' dealerships)
  11. not sure.. your last post said you had a line on a couple "EA8T" Cars, so I just took a shot in the dar..lol yes, EA82T can be done as well.. more work.. But probably more fun as an end result.
  12. Sure.. Install an EA81T in the brat.. it would be cool.. Make sure you have all the stuff you need before you scrap the donor though..Crossmember, ECU, wiring harness.. all that neat stuff
  13. More of a mounting thing. The EA81T is MPFI like the EA82T.. So it would have the proper intake ports on the heads, which you current heads do not.
  14. If you wanted it setup like a factory type system, you would need a lot of EA81T parts.. Heads And such.
  15. Yup.. Two guys can lift an EA82 from the bay withot much trouble. I'm not a very big guy either, and a friend and I did it with an EA82T
  16. The rear in the turbo car will be 3.70. The Non turbo D/R is 3.90 The sawp is pretty easy, especially since you have the whole donor car from which to get all the trim and linkage and such. Yes, you will need to use the D/R axles with the D/R trans (23 spline) they should hold up just fine.
  17. Sooo.. Tell me again.. How is fabricating a complete (functional and safe) turbo setup easrier than a bolt-on setup as described above? Vanislru - cool site.
