For the 1979 brat the torsion bars in the back are the problem and you will need at least a 4 inch to clear 15s unless you find 25 inch tires. My friend toolman look him up has made a lift for one and the back needs spacing for the bigger tire he was running 31 inch swampers wth a 1 1/2 inch spacer to get the tire away from the torsion bar but 31 is a bit hard on the stock 4 speed and single range but the axles were fine but we went through 3 trannies in one year but if you are intrested he has taken off his lift and will be taking down the specs for others to follow but it seems others use a ea81 tosion bar system for the back because it is easier to fab it in and the torsion bar wont get in the way

ground hawg makes a 27 inch mud tire to $$$ is the thing also found quite a bit more to but $$$ wise swampers are the better deal

All right change of plans we will all meet at wagon wheel it is a free orv park outside of mollala at noon it is located on 213 in the little place called liberal there is a sign for it and quite a big parking lot to set up It has something for everyone and even some big challenges its where all the locals gather and wheel the #### out of there trucks Sorry for the change but I cant seem to get anything out these people putting on the bog but at least I know a legal free park to go to mud sand rocks and hill climbs I have a new video camera and a labtop so video and pics will be made onsite

I just did the same set up on mine I will get back to you let me check my settings I think My setting were 55 jets and 1 1/2 turns out fuel side and 2 turns out air side -
oh yeah add spare wheel and tire holder in the back after replacing a tire or two you will want the spare a lot closer to the ground

Ok this is it There is a event on febuary 7th called the molalla mud bog they do this event for local 4x4 groups this could be the start of a subaru 4x4 group I planned on having a meeting there if anyone is interested please let me know I think we should all get involved and show some 4x4 trucks up in a event Lets get out there and start our own group those who cant make it we will get together at another time but please feel free to let me know here if you want to join our name will be SOBER 4x4
