Most lights will come with the wiring harness for them.. When you buy them, just look in the package, if there is a little box thing with wires going into it, and like 6 wires or so, then it should come with them.. Here is a pic before i put on my fog lights underneath the bumper, and with my old bumper lights on..

I live in a small town myself, about 1800 population.. In the last couple years there has been a big increase in meth heads around here, and it just pisses me off to a extreme.I got really close to beating the ************ out of one the other day, but then i relized it wasnt worth my time... Its a long story so dont ask :-p On another note.. I'm sure the guy wont be to hard to find, he will soon find out that he will have to stop at stores and gas stations very frequently to get oil..

If this is what you are refering to Uhm lol.... If you ever plan on going on vacation to washington, Make sure you take you're sportage with you.. I got a nice new tow strap we can test out Maybe where your at this fits you perfect.. But i know sure as hell, around here, you would spend more time hooking up lines and straps to it then offroading it... I know one of the things that helps these subarus is the ground clearance. I know we dont have a ton of body clearance, but ground clearance is more useful anyway.. I go threw ruts all the time that trucks get hung up on. Of course, full throttle makes things more interesting
-
Well i just got a ignition module out of a older datsun/nissan.. I'm not sure if the hole disty is the same or not, but the ignition module is.. I thought that was pretty cool:grin:

Well it just depends what you personally prefer. For sand, wide definatly is better, same with powder snow.. But around here, there aint much sand, and hell there ain't much snow either I'm not sure if BFG's are true on size or not. but i do know that 235/75/15's measure out to like 28.9" or something like that..

I'm running 28x8.50 super swampers, so they are a full 28" tall.. Unlike the 27x8.50's which are only like 26.3 or so tall.. People will argue about width and what not.. It depends. narrow tires dig down and sometimes get a good bite, sometimes just digging ya in a hole. Wider tires offer a lot more floatation, but somtimes wont allow you to dig down to the bottom..
-
Yea its deeper than that farther back in the ruts, i was almost out of them so it looks kinda weak but still... Its hella soft haha.
-
Not many trucks around here can make it threw that.. Now its not the tuffest thing i have done, but its one of the toughest things i have pictures of.. Ignore the crap on the roof
-
Come on im only like 4 years old..
-
I believe if he sold it i had like first or second dibs on it from about a year ago on AIM, remember that Jared?
-
How much ground clearance does lil roo have?

Well Zap, tell him i said happy Birthday -
Let us know how it does, because i planned on getting one of those trailers also, for my lifted wagon though. I planned on useing it so i could haul my four wheeler( which isn't that heavy for a quad, its a sportbike-378 pounds) If it works good, that would be great, the reason i wanted it is because it looks like a lightweight trailer, so not to hard on my car to tow it, and more importantly to stop.

Looks really good, keep up the good work:banana:

15" spare for all 4 wheels...
soobmater replied to subie_newbie's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
well and not just that, look at the width of the rim, i believe its tiny like 4.5 or something... Durability factor would make it not worth it anyway.. -
Zap, now how would you like a dollar?..

Jb's brat I've did some pretty crazy stuff myself, and a lot of it comes down to if you got the balls to do it or not.. I have to admit, i use to be really careful with my car, but recently, lol no.. Ok, i'll tell my story.. There is a local place that we call the "church ranch" Some of the holes out there are very deep, well right now since its the middle of winter, some of the holes out there are 4+feet deep.. With ruts that are close to a foot and a halve... Back before it filled up, and the holes were only about 2 feet deep or so, i made it threw all the holes in 2wd, with my all terrains on.. My friends were getting stuck in 4wd.. Alot of it has to do that i would hit the holes well over redlining... Then after it started raining a lot, i put my super swampers on and what not, and everything out there was 4wd only, my first trip it did alright, then i went threw this sunken road (a lot of water came inside so it must of been deep) and my disty got soaked and died.. Then next trip out, i used a tube of greese on my disty Keept the water out real good.. I then made it threw every hole that i attempted.. Now i will list the rigs that have got stuck there 94 toyota, 10" lift, 38 " swampers Ford ranger, 6" lift 35" toyo m/ts Nissan 4wd, stock with 29's Dodge 1500, 2" lift with 33" wild countrys Dodge stock with 31" m/ts These are just the rigs that got stuck that i seen.. I know there has been a lot more.. But yea, subies rule:banana: Its also funny watching the fullsize trucks trying to follow you on four wheeler trails
