hey, whats wrong with 215/75/15's? If you don't mind that size, there are plenty of all terain tires for you... or do you want mud terrain tires? and 215/75/15's will fit, because thats what i run, only a lil fender trimmin

Welcome to the boards, Subaru'n up is quite fun! You are in soob central, there are tons of roo's up there. -
The rims and tires seem like a good choice, as for the lift, the byb(ozified) lift should be a bolt in kit. Spray down all of the bolts with some penitrating oil. Some bolts can be lil punks trying to get them off. You missed the group bye from AA , that would of saved you a few bucks...
-
i agree, if you can get one for like 10 bucks, i mean do you really need to "steel" one?
-
yes, aa makes lifts for older legacy's, they look awsum! You should keep trying to find a ea 81 or ea82 because of the dual range, and because there not worth as much so...You dont have to worry about getting dents and such. The lifts for them are cheaper also. but, good luck with your project you want to have, keep us posted with pics also, i didnt notice where you are from, but i see ea 82's for sale all the time, just pick up a auto trader or somtin.

it would be kind of cool to bring a bow... i might go, not exactly sure, i sure hope so . it would be a good trip for me to take since im wanting to go to colledge at the UAA. If it is like the first post says, in a year or so...then i probably can make it , sounds like a lot of fun, i'd were one of those shirts -
wow, welcome aboard, you have done some nice mods to your roo's. do you have any pics?
-
heres what the look like, you can somewhat tell what it looks like in the pic, except i welded a angle iron onto it to account for my lift

Brat fender flares
soobmater replied to Rattle wagon's topic in Historic Subaru Forum: 50's thru 70's
i havnt seen them, but i think they would look pretty cool, ive seen them on some ea 81's and some gen 2 brats, but not gen 1. You could probably just get a roll of the fender flare stuff, then just put it on. they sell rolls of it in jc whittneys
