  1. the AGX are made by KYB. very good struts. they dont make these for the xt6, so in the front you will need the ones for a legacy, or an early impreza, wrx stuff will not work. the GR2 model is also very good.
  2. do little cars need a lot of torque? reverse, just get out and push the car backwards.
  3. the 80's corolla gts' had the bolster tightener also, i like they way those seats hold. sounds like a worth while swap, good luck. post pics when you're done.
  4. i vote motorcycle engine. lightweight, good power, sounds great.
  5. do you have a clip of that exhaust on google video? if so, that car does sound amazing! i would suggest you get your exhaust done like that, sounds great.
  6. i cant believe no one has posted this yet, but.... BOOOST!!!
  7. calebz, what did you use for the pipe going from the intercooler outlet to the throttle body?
  8. something i've seen more and more lately, has been bike mufflers. not in outrageous sizes, usually 2.25 in and 2.5 out. seen them on a couple integras, one on an FC3S (second gen RX7), and quite a few on the 80's corollas. my brother picked one up for his car for free, bike shops usually give away the stock pipes when people upgrade exhaust. just a thought.
  9. http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/WheelSeries.htm well priced wheels, crazy offset. dont know how many of you are into that kind of stuff. yup.
  10. te37 toyota corolla wagon with a K20A from the new honda civics with i-VTEC, potential for 300 NA horse, and sounds amazing. then get rid of those haggard leaf spring in the rear, weld in a GTS rear end, kaaz 2 way lsd. lower the car a little, but not too much, then get some ronal bears. done, kill people in the corners and on the straight aways. and since its a wagon, you can comfortably seat 5, ie the daughters of the people you just beat. yup. EDIT: 100th post, MOZLETOV!!!
  11. yes, but i put the coilover sleeve on the top since there were some fitment issues on the bottom.
  12. i currently am running ground control coil-overs on my stock shocks. i've put about 5000 miles on them with no problems. i use the coilovers for a 02-03 wrx, but i have legacy sturts in the front since i did a five lug conversion. it sits really low, no finger gap in the front, and about 1 finger in the rear, and sometimes going over huge speed bumps or in bad road conditions, it might rub a little in the front. my suggestion is to try the ground controls. i got mine for $50 off of ebay. good luck soldier.
  13. i would suggest running a bpv if you have a cat somewhere in your exhaust. when the bov opens, the ecu tells the injectors to dump more fuel in, causing the engine to run rich for a second. unburnt fuel=carbon deposits on the cats, which will over time destory them. IIRC.
  14. so what are your plans for your EA82?
  15. i think we can trust wjm when he says it still sounds like a boxer. the sounds clips i've heard still sound like boxers, just at a higher pitch. also, who cares it the twe header looks complicated and fugly? function over form. WJM, thanks for the info on the borla headers, i was just looking for an alternative to the TWE header since i'm sitting at $300 for a header right now. i just wait a little longer then get the twe, sounds like a better deal. -Victor
  16. EA82's are single port. i'm interested in your exhaust manifold jumblement. pics?
  17. has anyone else sent a request to borla for an EA82T header? wouldn't mind a borla header on the rx.
  18. i found these links on nasioc.com http://www.hotkey.net.au/~shatteredfx/reaperscsystems.html http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=605625&page=1&pp=25&highlight=supercharged+legacy the prices on that first page look a little outrageous to me though.... hope those help.
  19. on www.nasioc.com/ there is a guy with a supercharged legacy wagon named reddevil. he has a pretty good write up on his setup. good luck with the build, sounds interesting.
