  12. Hi This is Jerry, the muffler is in the side pipe or part of the side pipe. When i built my pipes i got 2 3 inch glass packs and about 6 feet of 3 inch exhaust tubing. I cut the end of the tubing on a 45 degree angle welded it together and added the pipe on to it. Wow you got a side pipe built hang it to the car 1 side is done repeat for the other side and have the exhaust shop hook them up. Thanks Jerry
  13. Hey Guys This is Jerry, these tires are really great in the mud he didn't have any problems running them in the mud except all the mud that flue every where. Can you say mud shower wow really cool to see. We had to install longer studs and use wheel spacers because os the tires being so wide they hit on the rear trailing arm. The tire pressure was set at 10 psi. If we had to do it again we would get the 9 inch tire not the 11 inch tire that way wouldn't have to use longer studs or spacers. Thanks Jerry
  14. Hey Guys This is Jerry, thats the tires that my coworker has on his brat for mud racing. He took third in the 4 and 6 cly class 3 seconds from first place. They are on a 80 brat. Thanks Jerry
  15. HI This is Jerry, can you say side pipes. I have them on my 86 hatch back, if you look at last years show pictures you will see my hatch with those side pipes. It is the one with the cragar wheels on it, the only subaru that has cragar wheels. I built the pipes myself Thanks Jerry

  18. Hi This is Jerry, if you look under the tranny where the stub axles are well in the center of the tranny there is a drain plug. Use a 13/16 six point socket you will have to tap it on the drain plug tight fit. The tranny holds about 1 galon of gear oil. Thanks Jerry
  19. Hey Erik This is Jerry, they are to long i already tryed to do that set up. It kicks the bottom of the wheel way out. I had a plan to cut the axle and weld it back together but i am sure it would be out of balance so like they say on monster grauge that won't work. Thanks Jerry
  20. Hey 4x4 This is Jerry, i have 2 of those hatchbrats now. Ok i will watch for some pictures and check some more things out but it's not looking good, remember i am old school. I like things to be real simple. Thanks Jerry

I haven't taken any of the SPFI stuff off yet so if anybody wants to give it a try let me know real soon before i take a BF hammer to it. Thanks Jerry

  24. Hey Guys This is Jerry, the sammy frame fits inside of the subaru unibody i didn't cut anything off of the subaru. When i am done with this set up if i want to i can go back stock with the subaru running gear. The pedales are all stock the steering i am useing the sammy. The only mod i will have to the body is a hole for the transfer box shifter and brackets welded to the unibody frame to hold the body to the frame. The rear drive line will be stock sammy ans the front i will have to lengthen and the center drive line i will have to lengthen. Hey sarge jump on the gray dog and join us at the show. Thanks Jerry
  25. Hey Sarge This is Jerry, the clostest i have found to match up with the subaru is a sammy frame. It fits inside of the subaru unibody and just add 13 inches to the middle of the frame and it fits. The jeep frame is close on wheel base but it is to wide. Come to the show and you will see my hatchbrat. I am useing sammy frame with rear end and front end and transfer case and sammy steering. Then i am useing the subaru engine with the 5 speed DR tranny. The after market has a lot of off road sammy stuff. Come to the show and see it. Thanks Jerry
