October 11, 201411 yr Daaaaaaaaammmn! Da! Da! Daaaaaaaammmn! NICE! That has to be one of the highest honors, having a vintage vehicle displayed in a new car show room... Congrats!
October 11, 201411 yr Nice! i delivered pizza to there in my lifted wag and they wanted to buy it to put on the floor lol.
October 11, 201411 yr Author Wow... now that is what I would call a back handed compliment. LOL Edited October 11, 201411 yr by tundrabrat

December 26, 201411 yr Author Cleaned up the push bar and mounted my NOS fog lights... will mount in Spring.
December 26, 201411 yr Awesome thread. I just read it start to finish. You're making me ache for a BRAT of my own. You did an epic job on yours.
December 26, 201411 yr Author Not in the picture but I have an extra one if you're looking. Got this for Christmas too... Vintage travel mug.
December 27, 201411 yr Finally got the engine moved from my shop to the garage and buttoned up. Have a Weber and front struts ordered and enroute, picked up rear shocks locally... All go on this week along with wiring the third eye and my NOS fog lights and hope to have it completed this weekend or early next week... (I won't hold my breath) what's the little brass thing to the left of the crank then?
December 27, 201411 yr That would be a block heater for cold climates. Do you know if the connection is on all ea81 harnesses? I have a couple of those but never have found the plug.
December 27, 201411 yr It always assumed those were dealer added options. It's just 3 wires to a 120 volt outdoor plug. Napa should have a replacement cord I would think, it looks like the same style I have seen on many engines.
December 27, 201411 yr Author what's the little brass thing to the left of the crank then? Sorry, I thought you were talking about in the picture of the brush guard... yes, that "brass thing" is a block heater. All the EA81 motors I have, have them. Edited December 27, 201411 yr by tundrabrat
