August 1, 201411 yr Nice "Award Winning" Subaru, I Really Like it! May I ask more info about the Award? Kind Regards. Thanks! I received it at a local car show we have yearly near where I live. The show is mostly european cars, vw's both newer and older, audis, bmws but they have awards for an enthusiast class as well. One of those awards is Best Subaru, as it is Vermont's unofficial state car. I was lucky enough to win it this year!
August 1, 201411 yr Awesome! Thank you for sharing the story and the Pictures of your Really Beautiful Subie. Kind Regards.
August 5, 201411 yr 20140716_172113.jpg I think the lambo doors would not look out of place on my 88 XT6, fits with the style of the car. what do you think?? I think the XT would be better suited to a gull wing door.
August 9, 201411 yr Just got my Suby back from the body shop. Had the major dents fixed and the whole car repainted. Looks amazing! Very happy with the results. http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s284/piano_maniac/Subarus/DSC0905-web.jpg Before and after pics: http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s284/piano_maniac/Subarus/BeforeampAfter-front-08-07-2014.jpg http--,,--//i155.photobucket.com/albums/s284/piano_maniac/Subarus/BeforeampAfter-rear-08-07-2014.jpg Three more for good measure http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s284/piano_maniac/Subarus/DSC0905-web.jpg http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s284/piano_maniac/Subarus/DSC0904-web.jpg http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s284/piano_maniac/Subarus/DSC0902-web.jpg now to replace my "missing" bumper stickers....
August 12, 201411 yr Still trying to figure out how to post pics instead of links in a thread. Engine is first but my 87 is Suparu clean inside...stickers buttons...even the business card of the salesman who sold it.
August 14, 201411 yr I check this thread probably every day, its about time I added a couple pics of my own! Here's to trusty musty, my first classic subie. Edited August 14, 201411 yr by TRUSTY MUSTY

August 15, 201411 yr Nice ride you got there Trusty, love the way EA82s look with the two-tone paint scheme Me too! That was one of the first things I did when I got it. (as you can see in the third picture i wasn't quite done with the front) Makes a HUGE difference.

Basically what I need to do on my subi as well.
August 18, 201411 yr I think the XT would be better suited to a gull wing door. not possible, frame less windows on the doors. Edited August 18, 201411 yr by BlackBoot
August 20, 201411 yr not possible, frame less windows on the doors. The comment you quoted was referring to a Leone/GL/Loyale photo that was posted on page 94 that was fitted with Lambo doors (and has frameless windows). Perhaps you are confusing Lambo doors with Gullwing doors?
August 20, 201411 yr This one: Want to see photos of Honduran Subarus? I posted a bunch, at the Legendary: "Strange & Weird Subaru Stuff" Thread. Kind Regards.
August 27, 201411 yr how much did that set you back? Basically what I need to do on my subi as well. Cost me $1300 and I love the result.
