December 30, 201411 yr I found these two gems on a random search in Ebay. Anybody looking for a couple of mint old Subarus? These are NOT mine. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Subaru-Other-GL-Standard-Cab-Pickup-2-Door-1987-subaru-brat-gl-standard-cab-pickup-2-door-1-8-l-/161532669952?forcerrptr=true&hash=item259c18f000&item=161532669952&pt=US_Cars_Trucks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Subaru-Other-GL-4WD-STATION-WAGON-RARE-CLASSIC-ORIGINAL-CALIFORNIA-SURVIVOR-1987-SUBARU-GL-4WD-/321628487369?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4ae28d3ec9&item=321628487369&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
December 30, 201411 yr Okay...did not know these were so valuable The wagon has carpeted walls in the back, not a great match either -did Subaru do that?
December 30, 201411 yr That brats been on there for a month or two that I know of. It's clean not for what they are asking clean enough.
December 30, 201411 yr I'd say the other way around. Could see the brat go for 6k +. That wagon to, however, I mean aside from being a rare color, if that's a factory color, and being exceptionally clean and low mileage, that price is way way too high. I'd price it at 4,750 obo.
December 30, 201411 yr Okay...did not know these were so valuable The wagon has carpeted walls in the back, not a great match either -did Subaru do that? No subaru didn't carpet the side covers it's a custom job.
December 30, 201411 yr I had a blue 85 go wagon like that once that had the carpeted interior in the back just like that. Pretty sure it was an option or something. Maybe something that dealers had done. The one I had was bought new by my grandmother, and then given to me, and I know she didn't have it done.
December 31, 201411 yr I'll be listing my 29K mile '83 Brat this Spring. Edited December 31, 201411 yr by epix
January 1, 201511 yr The 87 Brat was listed for $11,900 on there lot before it was put on eBay the first time. First time I bid $6300.00... No sale for last 3 or 4 times. Bid has gone over 9K once. No sale. Billy G.
January 1, 201511 yr The brat yes, the wagon no. Just because something was owned by a little old man, back in 1987 he wasn't a little old man. It does have some signs of honest wear on it, but 2K too much
January 1, 201511 yr That wagon is worth $3000 tops. Espescially since it's a california car......and an 87.....and a 3spd Automatic......yuck. Makes the wiring, and the disty and engine connectors all 1 year only hard to find parts. Edited January 1, 201511 yr by Gloyale
