opposed forces website is gone now?

Featured Replies

i just went to look up part numbers and noticed it's gone?

any news on that?

My link still works.

I've had this happen when I've typed it in.

You have to find an older link.

If you can't, pm me your e mail and I'll send one.

Too bad the board doesn't allow copy and paste.

O.

Works for me. Used it about an hour ago.

great thanks!  still not coming up though.

nippers link above is not working it just gives me "site unavailable" page.

does that link work for anyone else?

computer/intenret all working fine.  weird.

How odd it just worked for me. Clear your cache it may be a problem on your computer

Well, I just checked again from my phone. Its not working when I type it in, but from my laptop's bookmark it works. Weird.

The link doesnt work on my S5 (verizon) either, how odd.

You guys made me think to try my phone.

On the same wifi - It works on my phone but not laptop.

I'll try it later maybe just a glitch somewhere in the network.

I think its them, as it works on my PC, lap top and tablet, but not my phone.

Not sure if this is your problem, but I had a problem with a customer the other day (I do tech support) where an older website would not load because the browser was trying to load it with https:// but it only works with http://.  Try specifically typing http:// at the front, try with or without www.

You scared the crap out of me!! I'm not sure what I would do without opposedforces...

Still works on my end, but I have been a little worried for a long time that it may go away because there seems to be a lack of updates.

that's what prompted me to post here.  there's no newer stuff and i've felt before like it seems like it won't last.

Yeah....it'd be   :(  if that site goes offline. I can't get to it from work, due to our Firewall, but works from phone and home. If  I had 'mad skilz' w/the 'puter I'd grab the whole site for posterity.

I had to put in opposedforces.com for it to come up; NO WWW. prefix.

There is a thread on sl-i that has the full fast2 system for download, along with instructions on how to setup and operate it. Definitely not as convenient as opposed forces because I use it a ton on my phone, and fast2 requires a laptop/desktop to work.

Works on mine. Check your firewall isn't blocking the site directly. Also, if their certificate is old, it might prevent connection through overly strict settings.

Not familiar with fast2? Describe? Or I'll google later.

Don't have computer now to test opposed forces today.

Fast2 is the Subaru parts catalog system, I've not used it personally because I've always used opposed forces.

I will definitely be trying that.

I've actually used it at the local dealership once. Only for about 5 minutes because the parts person wasn't sure which part I was looking for and I had to dig through some diagrams to find it.

The diagrams are the same as those on opposed forces. The layout is a bit different, but its similar enough to opposed forces that its easy to pick up on.

Yep, Fast2 is one of 3 catalogs that I use here. It's probably the best when it comes to searching for things without a vin, as you can narrow it down by body style, engine, transmission, etc.

It also does not require any sort of license or login. If you can get your hands on the files, it will work.

I have always had some weird experiences with Opposed forces. It seems to time out on some computers, I've even been able to get it to work on one browser, and not on another.....on the same computer.
