I know someone who is lifting a EA81 Turbo Wagon. He's in the process of putting a D/R FT4WD 5spd in it as well.

 

Is your friend doing a EA81 or an EA82 Zap?

Lifting a Baja is one thing, but how about actually offroading it...that's what I want to see. I guess if you can afford the machine you can afford body damage too. God I hope they aren't lifting it so they can fit 20" chrome wheels with low profile tires.

C'MON Mike! - "Da-Bling-Bling-BAJA" would be uh...um... yea, that would be lame, nevermind.

 

Is it John? (i know he was working for lifts on new soobs, right?) - The turbo sounds pretty cool on a baja though, make it that much more exciting/less boring (in the glass half-empty/half-full sorta way)

Who do I know that might be crazy enough to do this? Hmm, I dunno anyone round here.

And they don't have Baja's down in the southern Hemisphere. Least I've never heard tell of them. Last I heard they were a US marketed vehicle, like the XT-6.

And a Turbo Baja?? I didn't think they hit the market till later next year, or did someone do some sort of conversion. Can I talk to this person, they must have deep pockets, and I could use some change for (cough cough), coffee.

I mean it. It will be the first one off the truck next month.
