2nd owner, had 355k when I got, and the engine needed to be rebuilt. It's an '86 GL wagon and at 360k it's going strong!

wow! that 360k.. details? so the stock engine made it to 355k and then it had to be rebuilt? pretty impressive. How long did the stock clutch last? Did anything go out between say 250k -350k that needed to be replaced? Just wondering what might be next to go on my car. Thanks

Well my wagon hit 250k a couple days ago but I just had the chance to get a pic. 87 GL-10 stock EA82T. Who says they dont last?

1993 Loyale Wagon 5sp 4x4 with 249K miles

My 1982 brat has 254k on the clock with its original engine. Still puttering around town untill I'm done stripping the wrx for the swap.

1986 GL 222,000and still going strong

'83 GL wagon 2WD 233,000miles original engine n transaxle.

Has a taste for CV boots right now. High 20's for gas mileage and just rocked a PDX to B-ham trip(530miles) to pick a Suzuki dual sport bike.

A DR350 will easily fit into the back of a wagon.

No pics, but just rolled past 260,000 on my 88 DL 5mt D/R wagon. She's rusty, but trusty. I can tell you for a fact that the last 4,000 haven't been gentle.

88 gl 264,000 All original. A/c still kicks hard with no power to spare :) Orig enigine and transmission.

Well, the odometer reads 261,865.1 miles. However, the transmission only has 221,XXX miles. The longblock only has 116,XXX miles. The water pump, clutch assembly, and flywheel only have ~324-500 miles, since they're brand new. Man, it's gonna get hard to keep track of all this.  :P

1978 DL Sedan, Original EA71 removed last week at 115,000km.  Goes to show the easiest way to kill an engine is to not use it.

The tranny has never been serviced, the engine has had new cam seals and timming belts but nothing else
