Decidedly not, unless you put a sube engine in it....

 I'll take Dennis in an '83 Oldsmobile over half the board in their best Subaru.:Flame: :-p

Somebody scare up EJ.....:)

haha, thanks for the kind words paul. good to see youre doing well...

ill more than likely be there and we can catch up...as for EJ? i havent heard from or seen him in light years.

Talke dto Colonial Subaru Sat and Rory talked to them today..They are going to be helping me out and sending me down to carlisle with some give aways...just aheads up..I got that dealer covered

I'll know for sure in a month or so, but I might make it this year. I'll only have my 96 Outback, but it'll still be a good time. I went in 2004 and it was cool.

We will be coming to Carlisle this year. We are hoping to bring the 84 Hatch & 86 RX. If we can find a 3rd driver possibly one of our wagons. We are looking forward to seeing the subies from the 70's!

So, I'm getting ready to register later this week, but I have a dilema. Should I bring the '05 LGT as my second car, or my '96 LGT with the 2.2 Swap? The '96 looks like crap with paint's falling off the bumpers and a dented rear door, but it has the appeal of the 2.2 swap... What says the crowd?

Oh, for those just reading the first car will be the '93 Impreza rally car with the tuned '02 WRX drivetrain.

Keith

Just enter them all..whats another $5 ;)

You mean I can get cloned for only $5!!!! The problem would be getting it there. As it stands I'm going to register two cars and hope that either my father of fiance comes.

i need to register the wrx. i sincerely doubt ill be bringing the wagon this year.

keith, id like to see the 05. or possibly the rx? :brow:

I highly doubt I will be bringing my wagon down ..cause I just dont feel like fixing it...but I entered it anyway so we can get the club tent.

eh the shows a long way off..you might change your mind about it by then. And besides i havent met bucky yet :(

Hey Paul

Would my 93 impreza qualify? or is it too new?  its got big wheels and it will have forester suspension by then, plus auto dimming mirror, digital compass and other cool little neat things...

yay!!!!! ok then i'm registering it tomorrow! heheh how about instructions they'll come in the mail? and where do I meet you guys? i dont wanna get lost there in the middle of a bunch of VWs

Hey, I might end up bringing a VW. :-\

The Subaru section will be pretty easy to find, they have cars grouped by country. We were across from the Italians last year. Instructions...directions are at carsatcarlisle.com , you get a yellow registration card in the mail showing what you paid for, and you'll just want to take that to the registration building by the main entrance to get the credential sticker(s).

lol cool thanks hey i like VWs too but i dont want to end up with a sube in the middle of them

No problem, I won't be cluttering the Soob showfield with my Cabrio either. (still hopefully bringing the '75 and something else). I'll look forward to meeting you there!

it shouldnt be too hard to find us. just look for a large tent and listen for matt and myself yelling at people for trying to park their hyundais and hondas in our club spot!

that isn't going to happen this year...(if I can help it) I am planning a talk with some officials closer to the show. They need to step it up a little in the security dept.

Im going to register mine soon as i get my tax refund check in the mail. So it should be soon.

We're across from the Italian section EVERY year. That's where the Asian cars are.

From the registration house you drive straight in and take the first possible right and we are immediately on the left.

I about talked the guy I bought my rims from into coming down..if I dont bring Bucky..he mentioned something about trailering something down and was asking about a place to store the trailer....he has an XT6 and 2 hatches ( you should remember 75subies beautiful white hatch?? ) and a red one with a plow set up.

Once it gets closer...if you guys want...we can plan out a carpool caravan convoy thingy...what a beautiful sight...a gaggle of Subarus traveling together
