From what I understand at this time I'll be able to get down there Friday night.:) Would be best if I leave Saturday night,or early Sunday, with escort,AAA Plus plan, and well charged cell phone.New job,90 day probabtion, can't be late or miss days in that stretch.

Are we ready to talk food yet?

And don't forget SATURDAY IS THE DAY to be there.

Food/meals probably depends on actual time of arrival.

Seperate food thread coming!!

Yeah, why doesn't a National Event hosted at Carlisle NOT have a sticky yet???

A couple of you guys in the food thread haven't registered yet.Been a tough year for at least a few of us,so I understand holding off if need be,but let's not forget the deadline.

For a while there it was looking to be our best year ever.Less rednecks, more cool people, more truely vintage and interesting Subarus.....so get out of first gear, rev it up,and drop the clutch already!!

The Countdown is on!! got a flyer today in the mail and got all excited ..had to run out and show Rocky.

Matt..let me know ASAP if we need more funds for the tent so I can get some to you.

Bumpity Bump...time is running out..get your entries in ASAP!

I've just registered 3. My wife and I will be driving 2 for sure; still have to find a 3rd driver. As it is my 3rd volunteer who wants to come has yet to be learn to drive a MT!

update!

Hey, all. :)

nkx sent me a couple PMs, over on NASIOC. I'm free Friday 5/18, and my wife doesn't have her office open on Fridays. So!! Technically, unless something comes up, we can bring at least one car.

Maybe two, if my wife wants to bring hers.

The Outback is an '01 H-6, looks basically stock except for the Supertones, but hey.... it's another car.

So we'll see, I'll keep everyone posted.

-Chris

Thanks. :)

The Outback's mod list is short:

Baja Turbo rear swaybar

BF Goodrich Traction T/A-V tires

Satisfied Pro OE brake pads

Hella Supertones dual horns

Momo Subaru A/T shift knob

My RS' list is considerably longer, so to make my life easier, click here:

I'm hoping for a WRX swap by Christmas! Engine only, except for a MadDad Whisper 2.5" axleback, a 2.5" midpipe, and maybe an open-source tune.

I'd like to get a subtle exhaust for the Outback. SPT has one for the 2000-2004 Legacy, guess I could think about that, if it fits.

Hey Chris ( Siper2) ..It doesnt matter what it is as long as its a Subaru...I happen to be bringing the Ugliest one on the road;) ..its a shame I cant bring my Loyale ...he loves to show and shows nicely...but ..If I can get around to it I hope to unvale the New and improved Rocky by then..if not its going to be this:

The old and ugly Rocky

Actually... my sister-in-law, who's currently living with us, has a '98 Legacy Brighton wagon, 4EAT. Maybe we'll have three. :D

She's not really in to cars, but if she has nothing else to do....

if we're still in a bind, would i be able to register the wagon as a second car and get that same rate seeing as i already got the mailer from carlisle?

not sure if there is an official cut off date but prices do go up 19 days before the event.

The sooner the better if you are going to do it so that if we have to register extra cars to meet the quota then we know before the 11th hour.

I can't believe how fast it is coming. There is only 36 more days. I'm really excited about going plus it is also 36 more days until my b-day:banana:

Siper if you get 3 cars in all we need is 2 more = free tent:banana:

You just have to keep reminding me that I have no time left to get Rocky in shape for Carlisle...;):banghead: I wish it would warm up so I can get some stuff done..Hopefully picking up his new interior this weekend then I have to put it in...plus cool him down...and finish filling holes...and repaint..AARRRGGGG!!!!

Did I mention I can't wait though??

Dont forget Dave should be entering at least one .....Plus let me know if anyone wants any help with any orginisational (spelling) stuff.

Sorry for the pressure Bucky. Trust me we are feeling the same way here trying to get the brat ready. We would love warmer weather. It always seems to be nice when you are at work and snowing when you get home. But maybe it will get it out of its system now and be really warm and nice for the car show:cool:

Good luck with getting Rocky together. I can't wait to see him.

I have way too many irons in the fire. :banghead:

amen, and a big DITTO for a lot of us.

So that's why I say JUST SHOW UP.

We're all (mostly) fairly low budget, sensible people. We take care of paying the bills, feeding the family, etc and the Subarus just have to come further down the line.

This will be probably the third year I've said "Come see my '78 the LAST year of being unrestored"...

Oh well,as long as it shows up.;)

Ok. Talked to my wife yesterday, and we may have a prior commitment I'd forgotten about. Not sure. I'll let you guys know... nobody get depressed just yet. :D
