anybody ever see or have any pics of a "Desert Fox" edition hatch? i just picked up a nice complete set of decals for one, but i`m wondering how they look........

I like all of the weird editions these things have. Such as mine with the "Diamond Edition", in which it has some polished metal at the bottom of the car. I'd also like to know what this "Desert Fox Edition" looks like, seems interesting

have any pics of your diamond edition? i have never seen one that was a hatch

Not right now, I just got a digital camera, so I can probably take pictures tomorrow. I also would have to clean it up, first snow happened last night, so I had to go out and play in it:burnout:, thus it is now dirty!

Yeah, definitely post pics, I have never seen one of these hatches either.

MikeW has a set of Desert Fox Decals.... but has never installed them. the Mtn Grizzly Decals I had were for a hatch too. Mike and I got them around the same time off eBay, and I've been on the look-out for a set of the Desert Fox ones for my current Hatch...

 

they were an aftermarket item. I still have the company sticker off my mtngrizzly decals box. it had a drawing of a Brat on it.....

 

notice how they don't quite make it to the rear on a wagon since it's longer.

 

 

the Desert Fox decals are the same size and layout as these, but Tan based in color as I recall...

they weren't an official edition. they were just aftermarket decals you could get for them....

If Mick can't, I'm sure that pooparu can - he's very knowledgable with respect to vinyl. He's doing the complete gen 2 brat set and said the final cost will be about $100. Very fair IMO. He's got a plotter and all that stuff for LARGE vinyl. He measured up my Brat with some prints from his plotter - the fit was great. Real nice guy too. I say we send him the stuff and have him digitize it for the benefit of everyone.....

yeah, he seems like a very nice guy. i traded him a subaru script off my old 360 truck for a set of his brat stripes and i can`t wait to see them. sounds like they are going to be almost perfect originals. i picked up a set of originals with these desert fox decals, but they are the wrong color for me.

My boss just got a pro-grade vinyl plotter but we're all n00bs as far as that's concerned... there's also no reason that custom themes couldn't be produced as well..

I'd be interested in a set of vinyls. I like the mountain grizzly ones. If we could get some reproduced and possibly lengthened for a wagon, I'd be a happy panda.

If I had the decals I could easily reproduce anything or change anything too. If enough people are interested in getting a set of these decals I'd be willing to buy them from you or work out some sort of trade. Let me know.

I'd be interested in a Mtn Grizz set for a wagon or brat. Assuming I can also put it on a hatch. This is all price dependent though. :-\

unless you can make decals by a picture of mick's wagon, i doubt there will be any mountain grizz sets

I would be down for a set of the desert fox for my wagon.... probably basically the same as the set you would be making for a Brat as they are the same overall length. SWEET!

 

And I have a wagon and Brat that he can measure off for those conversions!
