New Camera = New Brat Pix!

Featured Replies

Got sick of the old 2megapixel sony piece of crap Ive been using. Makes the Brat look worse on the computer than in real life... so I went and picked up a new 8 megapixel Canon. Now I can get some decent shots... snapped these quickies on the way home from the store, might go back out and get some more with better scenery after I install the bed chrome.

Those rims look great. I am still looking for a set. :( Brat looks terrific too. Thanks for posting the pics.
I have a set of those; polished and expensive. Might be for sale.
Ed, was this not your set?
No, I still have mine. But they look as good as mine.

Wow Ed, this whole time I thought the prev. owner bought your alloys. You mean there are two sets this nice in existance???!

I installed my bed chrome, then decided to take the Brat to one of my favorite picture spots to get some better background shots...

Man that thing looks so good! And man it's so early there still! It's 8:24 here! And theres 2' of snow on the ground

Looks great! Could use a little taller profile on the tires to fill in the fenders a hair more, but other than that it looks like a really nice combination!

Looking good, lookin good! How are those low pros treating you since it was brought up? I haven't put too many miles on mine so I really don't know how the handling is.

It looks so naked without BRAT stripes. I know where you can get a new set:brow:

Check the link below to Subaru decals.

WOW, Brian!

That is amazingly beautiful... no other words.

I think I have your twin (DL), and yours is something to aspire to now:

I have had this sitting for nary 3 years, but it's running good and time to finish. I bought a full set of black decals from Poop almost two years ago - I hope they still stick, LOL. r/ PK

Thanks Patrick.

Also, the tires are working pretty good. Handling is good, but its still a EA81... so its not a sports car or anything. The most noticeable difference is acceleration. Although I do hit 80mph on the freeway and im barely passing people, or keeping up. Im sure the speedo is way off.

I dont know, whenever Im in oregon I get passed like Im standing still while Im going 70, and the speed limit there is usually 60  but Im sure the low profile tires make a small difference.

Looks good Brian, I'm impressed! Best EA81 I think I've seen you own since I joined like a million years ago:lol:

Oh and crank the rear torsions down a little, make it look somewhat level:grin:

I did crank it down, but I think thats as low as it goes.

I think im going to work on getting some 14's, we'll see.

I'd reclock them a couple notches so it sits a hair lower then the front, then crank them back up with the adjustment to get your ride height:)
