hmm...
I can make it, but the kids wanted to come , and it would be the first 3-4 days of school missed.

What moron superintendent denotes school start on a Thursday (26th). Dumb a$$, then Labor Day holiday follows? When I was growing up (still), school ALWAYS started AFTER Labor Day.

... still pondering

Yep, same here, school didn't start until the Wednesday after Labor Day, then when I went to college, school didn't start until the middle to end of September.

I'm going to hear about this from northguy, but, when I was going to school, we did have all these half days and teacher's days, we started school in September and finished in May, first week of June at the latest.

Oh Well, getting off track, I have no kids, I'm not in school, so I have no excuss not to be there.

Yeah Bratsco, only cuz you wanna go to the nudie beach :-P
Maybe we can stop at Crown Point and get a picture of all our soobs overlooking the gorge, that'd be cool :-) It's a slight trek off the freeway, but it's worth it especially if it's clear.

Speedbump, if you are talking about the Deschutes Brewery, it is still there, but it is a long way south of where the show will be held. You should be able to get some in at a store in Portland on the way out to Hood River.

Speaking of beer (and going WAY off topic), Corky, have you ever heard of "Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout"? Picked some up the other day..not quite as smooth as some others, but a decent stout.

The caravan will most likely be 1 day there, 1 day back. Cant imagine it taking us more than an entire day to travel into Oregon.

Keep an eye in the meet and greet section for all the details, we'll plan more when the time nears.

Hi Brian,

I have done that run many times.

12 hours ride on a fast motorcycle to Hood River from Mendocino

might need to meet on the way, it would be a good time to go see Tony too.

Great date and great location for a whole number of reasons. I will be there, but the timing just missed my middle son's wedding (early August---in Bolivia!).

I'm stoked!!! My plan is to make this weekend. Not sure what Adam and the rest of the rogue roos are doing, but it would be great to carpool up there. Oh, and just did the rear disk brake conversion......EASY!

if i do make it i will have around a few hundred lbs of dry ice for anyone who wants some for their coolers
to help keep things really chilly on what will probably be a hot day

and if i can't make it those who will be passing through the longview area can pick some up if they wish

hmm i guess i better get busy on finishing my programable fuel injection ecu

and maybe install my carputer temporarily

so much to do so litte time...
:)

Sounds great! I'll be there!

What's the spread on posts in other clubs inviting people?

I know this isn't a club thing, but a subaru thing. I'd love to see some guys from NASIOC or I-Club or LegacyCentral there.
