A typical reason for wet floors is a clogged drain hose from the HVAC core. Extremely common on all cars.
  2. Auto electrics 101: The battery s a storage device used to start the car and make up any output defacits by the altenator (like at a traffic light) The Alt recharges the storage battery and runs the car. The Alt is not putting out enough power to meet the demand of the load, so the car runs out of battery power and starts running badly. The battery can rebuild itself if it sits long enough and hasnt been damaged by the discharge. These batteries arent designed for deep discharge. Just replacing the battery will not fix the issue, it may delay it but wont fix it. This isnt rocket science.
  3. Take an old bearing of the same size. Grind a few thousandths off the OD. Now you have a nice tool for pressing them in with a vise. Unless you are 100% sure the jaws are parallel and square, do a little at a time, and turn by 1/3 [120 degrees]. Or tap with a medium hammer and aluminum or other soft metal drift, again, turn 120 degrees each time it moves a little. You should be able to get the feel for how hard to tap to get a little movement, and do one tap per 120 degrees. The sheet metal stamped pulleys, you have to support well to avoid deforming them. When installing, never apply force in a way that transfers through the balls. Or from inner to outer race in other words. Always move the OD by the outer race or the ID by the inner race. When removing a known dead one, this doesn't matter. I started doing this back 1988 or so, when the only source was Subaru, and they wanted $90.00 each. High quality contact seal bearings were around $7 - $10 each.
  4. It is the LED on the ECU. ON is rich or lean, dont remember which.
  5. Input your make, model year & engine into RockAuto and then when the parts lists comes up enter "gaskets"in the search. That should give you most of the gaskets your vehicle uses.
  6. Try the MMO (Marvel Mystery Oil) trick--it'll loosen up any bits of gunk. Drive for a few days then change oil & filter.
  7. I have no experience ewith it but have read that using some marvel mystery oil has helped with sticky HLAs. and some quiet engines will let you hear a spark if conditions are right and a plug wire is bad.
